# Revoke Product access from a customer

> Remove a customer's access to a Product after they have finished a course, failed to pay, or failed to comply with terms and conditions.

<Note>
  **Note:**
  Customers do not receive a notification after being revoked from a Product.

  Remember that revoking access for a recurring subscription or payment plan Offer will not deactivate future payments. Read [Cancel a customer's subscription](/articles/contacts/manage-your-contacts/how-to-cancel-your-customers-subscription) to cancel future payments and revoke access.
</Note>

## Revoke access to a Product

Revoking access to a Product removes the Product from your customer's Library.

This lets you retain your customer's records (i.e., [Product Progress](../../analytics/report-product-progress)), but prevents them from accessing the revoked content.

<Note>
  **Note:**
  You can revoke access to all or multiple customers using Bulk Actions inside the **Contacts** tab. [Learn more](/articles/contacts/manage-your-contacts/perform-bulk-actions-in-the-contacts-tab)
</Note>

To revoke access:

1. Open the **Contacts** tab from the Dashboard.
2. Select the customer you wish to revoke access for.
3. Click **View More** under **Total products** in the contact preview.
4. Select **More Info** next to a Product you wish to revoke.
5. Click **Revoke Access** next to all Product(s) you wish to revoke.
6. In the popup confirmation, click **Revoke access** to confirm:

<div className="w-full aspect-video">
  <iframe src="https://fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/jf1ph4htft" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowFullScreen className="w-full h-full" />
</div>

Revoking an Offer will display the **Access status** row in the **Purchases** tab with the indicator **Access revoked** and the party responsible for the action (e.g., email of the person or by automation).

The following are revoked indicators that may appear in the **Purchases** tab:

* **Revoked by automation**: An Automation has been set up to revoke the Offer.
* **Revoked by [email@example.com](mailto:email@example.com)**: The person that revoked the Offer is indicated by their email address.
* **Revoked by our support team**: A "@kajabi.com" user has revoked access.
* **Revoked**: The Offer was set to restrict access after a certain number of days or the subscription was set to cancel.

<Note>
  **Note:**
  If a customer has access to the Offer, then no access row will be shown.

  Deleting an Offer from your **Products** tab will not revoke access to the Products included with the Offer for your existing customers of that Product.
</Note>

## Pause or suspend a subscription

Pausing or suspending your customer's subscription or payment plan temporarily disables your customer's billing. This can be done in the case that your customer is temporarily unavailable to be billed. For example, your customer may wish to temporarily disable their subscription or payment plan while they are on vacation and resume it when they return. Learn how to [pause your customer's subscription](/articles/contacts/manage-your-contacts/pause-your-customers-subscription-or-payment-plan).
