# Add Automations to Course Lessons

> Automate actions like sending an email, registering for an event, or granting an Offer when a Lesson is completed.

**Course Lesson Automations** let you trigger actions — like sending an email, granting an Offer, or adding a Tag — when a customer completes a lesson. This reduces manual work and keeps your workflows running automatically.

### Create an Automation

1. Open the **Products** tab from the Dashboard.
2. Click **Courses**.
3. Select the **Course** you wish to edit or create a new one.
4. Click the **Course Lesson** you wish to edit or create a new one.
5. Navigate to the bottom of the Lesson Editor.
6. Click **+ Add Automation**.
7. Select the **Then** action triggered by the completion of the Lesson.
8. Click **Save** to keep your changes.
