# Maximize the text box when editing

> Expand the text editor to full size for easier email editing.

By default, the **text area** is sized to fit within the left sidebar, but there is a button that allows you to maximize the screen to show the text editor in full size:

Once completed, click the icon again to "shrink" the text area back to its default size.
