# Personalize Email Campaigns

> Connect with email recipients by personalizing Email Campaigns with liquid objects.

Connect with your email recipients by personalizing your **Email Campaigns**. Address your recipients by name or any custom field by pulling information from their form submissions.

## Personalize marketing emails with liquid objects

Use Kajabi's supported liquid objects to personalize your email campaigns to each individual recipient based on the data stored in their [Contact Profile](../../contacts/manage-your-contacts/how-to-manage-your-contacts-profiles).

### Personalize an email campaign

1. Open the **Marketing** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Select **Email Campaigns**.
3. Select an existing email campaign or create a one.
   (In this example we will edit an Email Sequence).
4. Navigate to the body of your email and select **Edit content** or click **Launch Email Editor**.
5. Open your Text Block with the [Email Visual Editor](../../marketing/email-campaigns/email-visual-editor-overview) or click into your text editor with the classic editor.
6. Click the **Personalize** dropdown menu in the toolbar.
7. Select from the supported liquid objects (e.g., First Name).

8. Click **Save** to keep and apply your changes:
