# Remove a subscriber from an Email Sequence

> Manually remove a subscriber from an Email Sequence to maintain a healthy mailing list.

Having a healthy mailing list is essential to your success in Email Marketing and one of the easiest ways to guarantee a clean list is by unsubscribing inactive **subscribers**.

## Remove a subscriber from an email sequence

### Remove a subscriber

1. Open the **Marketing** tab from the Dashboard.
2. Select **Email Campaigns**.
3. Choose an existing **Email Sequence**.
4. Click **Subscribers**.
5. Find the contact you would like to remove then click **Unsubscribe**.
6. Confirm the Unsubscribe:

<Note>
  **Note:**
  Unsubscribing a contact from an Email Sequence will remove the contact from the specific email sequence, not your general mailing list. If your contact remains subscribed in your Contacts tab, you will still have the ability to send Email Campaigns to their email address.
