# Add a chat box to a live webinar Funnel

> Include a Chatbox with a Live Webinar Funnel using YouTube Live to interact with viewers in real-time.

A **chat box** in a live webinar Funnel lets you interact with your audience in real time during a YouTube Live stream. This feature is only available with the Legacy Webinar Funnel using YouTube Live — it will not display with a pre-recorded webinar or the Zoom Webinar Funnel.

  **Note:**
  The Legacy Webinar Funnel, Live Webinar (YouTube Live), is required to enable a chat box. The chat box will not display with a pre-recorded webinar or the Zoom Webinar Funnel.

## Create a Webinar Funnel

1. Log into your Kajabi account
2. Open the **Marketing** tab from the Dashboard
3. Click **Funnels**
4. Click **+ New Funnel**
5. Navigate to the bottom of the page and select **Legacy Funnels**
6. From the selection of Legacy Funnels, choose **Webinar** then click **Create Funnel**
7. In the **Webinar Type** dropdown, be sure to select **Live Webinar (YouTube Live)**
8. Select the Time and Date of the Webinar, the Time Zone, and an Offer you would like your Webinar viewers to purchase

## Set up YouTube Live

1. In your YouTube Studio dashboard, click **Create** then select **Go Live**

### Configure YouTube Live settings

1. Create a title and select Public or Unlisted
2. Select **No, it's not made for kids** for the Audience Type

<Note>
  **Note:**
  YouTube Live chat is only available if your live stream's audience is set for **not made for kids**.

3. Scroll down and click **More Options**
4. Click **Advanced Settings**
5. Ensure that **Allow Chat** is enabled
6. Return to the Basic Settings and click **Next**. This will launch a streaming preview to attach as the Thumbnail
7. If you wish to upload a custom image for the Thumbnail or Retake Thumbnail, hover over the image and select your desired option
8. In the Popup, click **Share**
9. Copy the **ID** at the end of the link to your clipboard, in this example:

## Connect YouTube Live to the Funnel

1. Head back into the Kajabi Funnel page and click into **Webinar Room**
2. Select **YouTube Live** in the sidebar on the right and paste the **ID** into **Video ID**
3. Make sure to check **Show Chat**
4. Click **Save** to keep your changes
