# Enter trader status and contact info in App Store Connect

> Add trader status and contact information in App Store Connect to comply with the EU Digital Services Act.

Apple has introduced [requirements](https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/manage-compliance-information/manage-european-union-digital-services-act-compliance-information/) for apps made available in the European Union (EU) to comply with the EU's [Digital Services Act](https://commission.europa.eu/strategy-and-policy/priorities-2019-2024/europe-fit-digital-age/digital-services-act_en). **App Store Connect** includes fields for entering trader status and contact details so that your app meets these requirements.

These requirements apply to any "trader", which is "any natural person, or any legal person irrespective of whether privately or publicly owned, who is acting, including through any person acting in his or her name or on his or her behalf, for purposes relating to his or her trade, business, craft or profession".

If you're not sure if this definition of a trader applies to you, we recommend that you consult with a legal professional.

Apple asks traders to provide a business address, phone number, and email address to be posted on the App Store product page. We recommend that you avoid providing personal information and specifically provide business information only.

## What if I don't have a business address / phone number / email address?

Setting up contact accounts for a business is fairly easy. This could include:

* Obtaining a P.O. Box address through your local Post Office or using a business address service
* Registering a business phone number through an online number service
* Creating a new email account with your preferred email provider
