# Add client notes (customer view)
> Coaching clients can add shared and private notes to track progress and key takeaways.
Your coaching clients can add **shared and private notes** within their coaching sessions to track their progress and key takeaways.
## Add notes (client view)
Your coaching clients can add shared and private notes in their note tab.
1. Open the **Coaching Product** from their Library
2. Click the **Session** they wish to add their notes to
3. Open the **Notes** tab
4. Add **Shared Notes** or **personal Client Notes**
5. Click **Save** to keep their changes
**Note:**
Personal client notes are not visible to the admin and are only accessible to the client that added the note.
## View client shared notes
1. Open the **Products** tab from your Dashboard
2. Click **Coaching**
3. Select the **Coaching Product** you wish to view
4. Click the **name** of the customer you wish to view
5. Select the **Session** you wish to view
6. Open the **Notes** tab
**Note:**
If you have connected Calendly to your Coaching Program, your Coaching Dashboard will include an additional page before displaying your Programs.
