# Add and update instructor information
> Add instructor information to Course and lesson page templates.
Your Course and Lesson pages are a great place to add **instructor bio** information. Share relevant details about yourself with your Course customers, such as your name, photo, and details about your professional background, qualifications, subject matter expertise, or interests.
## Where to add instructor information
### Course templates with a built-in Instructor Block
The Premier, Creative, and Prosper templates all include a conveniently built-in Instructor Block that you can add to your Course and Lesson sidebars.
First, add your instructor image, name, title, and instructor bio in your Site Details Settings, and those details can be linked to the Instructor Block on both your Course and Lesson page templates when you customize your Course.
### Adding instructor info to other templates and pages
Want to add your instructor information to a Course template or site page without a built-in Instructor Block? Add your info to any page you'd like using sections and blocks in the Page Builder.
## Update instructor info in Site Details Settings
Add your instructor image, name, title, and instructor bio in your Site Details Settings. Then, create a Course using the Premier, Creative, or Prosper template and add an Instructor Block to your Product Sidebar.
By linking your course instructor block to instructor bio site settings, your information will be pulled into your course:
**Note:**
An Instructor image and name are required when linking your instructor block to your site settings. If those values are not completed, the instructor block will not display in your preview or for your course customers.
### Edit instructor information in Site Settings
1. Open the **Settings** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Click **Site Details**.
3. Navigate to the **Instructor** section.
4. Upload an **image** of the instructor.
5. Enter the **instructor's name**.
6. Include the **instructor's title**.
7. Add the **instructor's bio**.
8. Then, click **Save** to keep and apply your changes:
**Note:**
Adding your instructor info in the Site Settings will not retroactively update your info in any pre-existing Courses you've created. If you've already created a Course using a template with a built-in Instructor Block, update your information directly on the Course and Lesson templates.
## Add instructor info to a Course page template
The Premier, Creative, and Prosper templates include an Instructor Block that you can add to your course sidebar, which you can customize with your own information.
If you choose to build your Course with a template that doesn't have a pre-built Instructor Block, you can create one using the default text and image blocks in the Page Builder.
**Note:**
Updating your instructor info on your Course page template will not update the instructor info on your Lesson page template. Be sure to manually update your information in both places or select the "link to instructor bio site settings" for any Instructor Block to easily update your instructor info from your site settings.
### Add instructor information by customizing the built-in Instructor Block
#### To manually edit the Instructor Block on your Course page template:
1. Open the **Products** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Select a **Course** to edit.
3. Click **Customize**.
4. Place your cursor over the Course page template and click **Customize**.
5. Then, click to open the **Instructor Block** in the Course template sidebar.
6. Deselect "link to instructor bio site settings" if you wish to manually update your instructor block.
7. Update the Heading, Image, Name, Title, and Bio fields as desired.
8. Click **Save** to keep your changes:
**Tip:**
Include information for multiple instructors by adding Instructor Blocks to the sidebar. Simply click "Add Content" in the Product Sidebar editor and choose "Instructor" as the block type.
### Add instructor information with default text and image blocks
Use page [sections](../../website/pages/add-sections-to-your-pages) and [blocks](../../website/pages/add-blocks-to-your-page) to add your instructor information to a Course page designed with the Momentum template (or to any other Course page template, website page, or landing page where you'd like to showcase this information).
**To add instructor information using default page blocks:**
* Option 1: Add your instructor information into existing page template blocks.
* Option 2: Create a new [section](../../website/pages/how-to-add-a-custom-section) and add a [text block](../../website/pages/how-to-add-a-text-block-to-your-page) and [image block](../../website/pages/how-to-add-an-image-to-your-page).
## Add instructor info to a Lesson page template
The Premier, Creative, and Prosper templates include an Instructor Block that you can add to the Lesson sidebar.
Any customizations you make to your Lesson page template will be applied to all of the Lessons you create, including any instructor information you add.
**Note:**
Updating your instructor info on your Lesson page template will not update the instructor info on your Course page template. Be sure to manually update your information in both places or select the "link to instructor bio site settings" for any Instructor Block to easily update your instructor info from your site settings.
**To manually edit the Instructor Block on your Lesson page template:**
1. Open the **Products** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Select a **Product** to edit.
3. Click **Customize**.
4. Place your cursor over the Course page template and click **Customize**. This will open your Course template in the Builder.
5. From the Builder navigation dropdown, select **Post** to open the Lesson template.
6. Then, click to open the **Instructor Block** in the Lesson template sidebar.
7. Update the Heading, Image, Name, Title, and Bio fields as desired.
8. Click **Save** to keep your changes:
## Delete an Instructor Block from a Course or Lesson
Don't want to include your instructor information on your Course and Lesson pages? Simply delete the Instructor Blocks from the page templates.
**To remove the Instructor Block from a Course or Lesson page template:**
* Option 1: Click to open the **Instructor Block**, then scroll to the bottom of the editor and click **Delete This Block**:
* Option 2: Click to open the **Sidebar Section** in the editor, then click `…` to open the options menu on the **Instructor Block** and select **Delete**:
