# What happens to dripped content if a customer cancels and repurchases?

> When a customer cancels and repurchases, their drip start date resets to the repurchase date.

If a customer cancels their subscription and repurchases the same Product, their Start Date resets to the date of their repurchase. **Dripped content** then begins from the new Start Date.

To have customers maintain their original Start Date after a repurchase, manually reset their Start Date in their Contact Profile.
