# Manually add an Affiliate Transaction
> Create manual affiliate transactions for untracked sales, special cases, or bonuses.
If an Affiliate purchase occurred but was not tracked, you can manually create a transaction to appear in the commission records. Manual transactions are useful for compensating affiliates for untracked sales, addressing special cases, or providing bonuses.
## Add an Affiliate Transaction manually
Manually add an **Affiliate Transaction** to record anything from missed reports to awarding affiliate bonuses. Keep in mind that manually added transactions cannot be deleted once created.
Additionally, manually added transactions will not display as conversions on the affiliate's dashboard; they are visible only to site owners in Kajabi's affiliate reports.
1. Open the **Sales** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Click **Affiliates**.
3. Click **My Affiliates** in the top menu.
4. Select your Affiliate's **Name**.
5. Click **New Transaction** in the top right corner.
6. Complete the **New Affiliate Transaction** form.
7. Attach the transaction to an existing **Offer**, enter a specified **Commission** amount, and include a reason for the manual add.
8. Click **Save** to keep your changes.
When completing the **New Affiliate Transaction** form, ensure the following fields are filled accurately:
1. Select the **Offer** purchased by the referral.
2. Choose the **Currency** for the transaction.
3. Enter the **Commission amount** or **Percentage** for the affiliate.
4. Mark the **Transaction Status** as "Due" (for future payment within Kajabi) or "Paid" (if processed outside Kajabi).
## View a manually added transaction
Manually added Affiliate Transactions will appear in your [Affiliates report](../../analytics/report-affiliates#understandingyouraffiliatesreport) when viewing by affiliate.
The reports include transaction details such as the reason for the transaction (e.g., manual), commission information, and associated customer details.
**Note:**
These transactions are only visible to site owners and do not impact affiliates' performance metrics.
