# Add a second checkbox to checkout for compliance

> Add custom checkboxes to a checkout page for compliance requirements like EU Consumer Rights.

## Overview

Some regions and business types require additional customer acknowledgments during checkout. For example, EU Consumer Rights regulations may require customers to explicitly confirm they understand their rights. You can add a second checkbox to your checkout page to capture these acknowledgments.

Kajabi's checkout already includes a built-in [service agreement](https://help.kajabi.com/articles/sales/offers/how-to-customize-your-checkout-fields#service-agreement) option that lets you require customers to accept your Terms and Conditions, including a custom one. If you need a second, separate acknowledgment on top of that, review how to add it below.

**Note:** This article provides general guidance on adding compliance checkboxes. For specific legal requirements, consult with a qualified legal professional familiar with the regulations in your region.

1. From your Kajabi dashboard, go to **Sales** > **Pricing**.
2. Select the offer you want to update.
3. Click the **Settings** tab of that **Offer**.
4. In the **Customize your checkout** section, click **+ Add custom field**.
5. Select **Create new custom fields**.
6. Enter a **Title** for your new field. This is the text customers will see at checkout.
7. Under **Type**, select **Checkbox**.
8. Toggle on **Make this field required**.
9. Click **Save**.

Your new checkbox will now appear on the checkout page. To add it to additional offers, go to **Sales** > **Pricing**, select the offer, go to the **Settings** tab, and click **+ Add custom field**.
