# Use a custom message for checkout email opt-in

## Customize the email opt-in message

**To update the email opt-in message on your checkout page:**

1. Open the **Settings** tab from your Dashboard.
2. Click **Checkout Settings**.
3. Locate the **Email Opt-in Message** field.
4. Enter your custom message in the text field.
5. Click **Save** to apply your changes.
