## Why edit my sections?

Adding Sections to your page will automatically generate the Section at the bottom of your page with the default name and settings.

With this guide, learn to access more actions to rename, duplicate, hide, delete, and reorder Sections on your page.

***

## Rename sections

Your Section titles are visible internally to help you identify the Sections you have added to your page. Editing your Section titles can help you differentiate between the various Sections you customize.

</div>

## Duplicate sections

Duplicating Sections can be a powerful tool for streamlining the process of creating similar Sections on a single page or for creating identical Sections optimized for mobile or desktop viewing.

</div>

### Can I duplicate sections across various pages?

No, duplicating a Section can only be done on the same page as your original Section.

<Note>
  **Note:** Duplicate Sections will generate at the bottom of your page. Learn to [rearrange your sections](#rearranging-your-sections) to achieve your intended design.
</Note>

***

## Hide sections

Hiding Sections is a great way of pre-customizing a Section of your page in preparation for events, announcements, countdowns, and more without displaying the Section immediately upon publishing.

Choosing to Hide a Section will keep the Section in your sidebar editor for easy access but will hide the Section from being viewed on your page.

</div>

***

## Delete sections

No longer wish to keep a Section? Delete the Section and all its contents.

If a page requires a specific Section for the purpose of the page (e.g., Login Section for the Login page) then it will not be removable.

<Warning>
  **Important:** Deleting a Section will delete all the content within that Section. If you click "save" after deleting, the action cannot be undone.
</Warning>
