# Add a blog post to a page

> Learn to add a Blog Post Block to your page to display your recently published Blog Posts.

## What is a blog post block?

The Blog Post Block is a great tool to engage and redirect your site visitors to your Blog content by displaying your recently published Blog Posts.

Adding a Blog Post Block to a Section of your Page will display your recently published Blog Posts according to your specifications. To edit your Blog Post content, you must create and customize your Blog Posts within your Blog built with Kajabi.

## Adding a blog post block

### To add a Blog Post Block to your page

* Open the **Website** tab from the Dashboard.
* Select the **Pages** tab.
* Open the page editor for your Page. [Learn more](/articles/website/pages/how-to-get-to-the-page-editor)
* Click the Section you want to edit or [create a new Section](/articles/website/pages/add-sections-to-your-pages).
* In the sidebar, click **Add Content**.
* From the list, select **Blog Post**.
* Your newly created Blog Post Block will generate at the bottom of the Section.
* Click **Save** to keep your changes:

## Customizing your blog post block

In a Blog Post Block, customize the [Block Width](/articles/website/pages/how-to-customize-the-block-width), the Blog Post displayed, choose to show or hide the Blog Post Date, and adjust the Blog Post Block Settings.

  **Note:** To edit your Blog Post content, you must [create and customize your Blog Posts within your Blog](../blog/how-to-create-a-blog-post) built with Kajabi.

### Post number

The Post Number identifies the specific Blog Post you want to be showcased on your Page and is measured from the most recently published Blog Post.

For example:

1 = Most recently published blog post

2 = Two Posts from the most recently published blog post

  **Note:** Each time a Blog Post is published in your Blog on Kajabi, the Blog Post Block(s) will update accordingly.

### Show blog post date

Choosing to Show the Blog Post Date will display the date your Blog Post was published on your Blog.

To adjust the look and feel of the Block, configure your Block Settings by customizing the:

**Accessing your Blog Post Block Settings:**

* Open the **Website** tab from the Dashboard.
* Select the **Pages** tab.
* Open the page editor for your Page. [Learn more](/articles/website/pages/how-to-get-to-the-page-editor)
* Hover over the Blog Post Block you wish to customize and click **Edit**.
* Navigate to the sidebar panel to access your Blog Post Block Settings:
