## What is the about page?

The About page provides a space on your website to:

* inspire your site visitors,
* showcase your accomplishments,
* and personalize your visitors experience with you and your brand.

## How to customize your about page

The About page is not just a space to share who you are, but it is a point of contact for creating a relationship with future customers.

To begin customizing your About page:

* Open the **Website** tab from the Dashboard.
* Click **Pages**.
* Select **About** from your list of website pages to begin customizing:

With the Website Builder, customize the appearance of your About Page:

* **Header**: Choose to hide or display your Header and customize the Menu links, your logo, and include hello bar banners to share any announcements directly from your About page. [Learn more](/articles/website/pages/customizing-your-header)
