## Uploading a downloadable PDF file to your page

Include a downloadable PDF file on your page by using a Call to Action to trigger the file.

With the Call to Action Block, upload your downloadable file. [Learn more about the Call to Action](../../website/pages/how-to-use-a-call-to-action).

After setting up your downloadable PDF with a Call to Action, your page visitors will be able to click the button to launch your file to download onto their device.

<Note>
  **Note:** The downloadable file URL cannot be edited unless you host your file using a third-party file storage platform (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.). Keep in mind, your chosen file storage platform may have their own specific URL conventions.
</Note>

## Step 1. Create a Call to Action

* Open the **Website** tab from the Dashboard.
* Select either **Website Pages** or **Landing Pages**.
* Open the page editor for your Page. [Learn more](../../website/pages/how-to-get-to-the-page-editor)
* Click the Section you want to edit or [create a Section](../../website/pages/add-sections-to-your-pages) to add a Call to Action (CTA).

## Step 2. Set up your button action

  <iframe src="https://fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/az7s4bxd5x" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowFullScreen className="w-full h-full" />
</div>

[Preview](../../website/pages/preview-your-page) and test your Call to Action (CTA) Button.

When the Call to Action Button is clicked, a tab will be created with the PDF document.

<Tip>
  **Tip:** Uploading a downloadable file such as a PDF can be done with a *Call to Action Button* and with the *Image Action* and *Action drop-down menus* located in various Sections. This is a great way to add branded imagery to identify your downloadable files!
