Create an Announcement on the web app
To post your Announcement using the Community web app:
In the left sidebar, Click the ellipsis icon beside the search bar, select Create New.
Select Announcement.
Enter a Title and Description for your Announcement.
(Optional) Click the Upload button to add a photo if desired (max file size is 40 MB).
Choose to either:
Click the first toggle "on" to Pin this announcement to your homepage, or
Click the second toggle "on" if This is a Channel announcement only. If you choose to pin your Announcement only to a specific Channel, select your desired Channel from the dropdown menu.
Click Save to post your Announcement:
Edit or delete an Announcement on the web app
To edit or delete your Announcement using the Community web app:
In the left sidebar, Click the ellipsis icon beside the search bar, select Settings to open your Community Settings.
Select Announcements.
Place your cursor over the Announcement you wish to edit.
Click the Edit announcement icon to the right.
Update your Announcement as desired and click Save (or click Delete Announcement to delete your Announcement):
Create an Announcement on the mobile app
To post your Announcement using the Community mobile app:
Select your profile icon at the top left:
Then, select the Ellipsis icon at the top right:
Select Announcements.
Select New announcement.
Enter a Title and Description for your Announcement.
(Optional) Select the Upload button to add a photo if desired.
Choose to either:
Turn the first toggle "on" to Pin this announcement to your homepage, or
Turn the second toggle "on" if This is a Channel announcement only. If you choose to pin your Announcement only to a specific Channel, select your desired Channel from the dropdown menu.
Select Save to post your Announcement.
Edit or delete an Announcement on the mobile app
To edit or delete your Announcement using the Community mobile app:
Select your profile icon at the top right.
Then, select the Settings gear icon at the top right.
Select Announcements.
Select the Announcement you wish to edit.
Select the pencil icon to open the Announcement editor:
Update your Announcement as desired and click Save (or click Delete Announcement to delete your Announcement).
