Add an Order Bump to an Offer

Prompt customers to purchase an additional Product directly from the Checkout Page

An Order Bump is used to advertise another offer on the checkout form. Within the Checkout Page, customers see an option to include an additional Offer with their purchase:

Add an Order Bump

Before starting, create two Offers:

  • The main Offer

  • The Offer to be added as the Order Bump

Note: While a multiple pricing option offer may be linked as an Order Bump, only the "recommended" price will show up on the Order Bump Offer checkout.

To add an Order Bump to an Offer:

  1. Open the Sales tab from your Dashboard.

  2. Select an existing Offer or create a new one.

  3. Click Cross-selling.

  4. In the Order bump section, toggle on Enable an order bump at checkout.

  5. Select the Order Bump Offer and add a Description.

  6. Click Save:

With an Order Bump, customers can choose to include the Order Bump Offer with their checkout process:

If a customer chooses to add the Order Bump to their purchase the Checkout Page will display both Offers in the total purchase.

Note: The main Offer and Order Bump transactions are processed separately. See this article for more information.

To remove an Order Bump:

  1. To remove the Order Bump, toggle the Order Bump off in the Cross-selling menu:

Note: Coupons may not be added or used on an Order Bump.
