What to expect
We are excited to help you during this exciting process, and we have done our best to make your move as simple as possible.
You will be able to schedule your call with Kajabi up until March 3, 2023. After that date, your community will be at risk of deletion.
What does this process entail?
- First, you will be invited to schedule a call with a Kajabi Customer Success Manager.
- During your 45-minute call, a dedicated Kajabi Customer Success Manager will walk you through the process of signing up for your Kajabi account and migrating your community.
- At the conclusion of your call, you will be fully migrated to Kajabi!
How can I prepare for my call?
To prepare for your call with a Kajabi Customer Success Manager, complete the following before your call:
- Have your Vibely community pulled up and signed in.
- It's important to let your members know that a change will be happening on the day of your call.
See below for our recommendations on communicating your move to your members. - Have your method of payment available for the call. This will be required to create your account, but you will not be charged until your free months have passed.
- If your community is monetized, make sure you can access your Stripe account that was created when you signed up for Vibely. Go to stripe.com to access and reset your password if needed.
What happens to my community during this process?
During this process, your community will transfer hosts from Vibely to Kajabi's systems.
The good news is that your community will not change in appearance or functionality at all.
This means that at the end of your call, your community will be found at communities.kajabi.com/your_community_name instead of app.vibely.io/your_community_name.
What happens to the members of my community?
Your members should experience minimal disruption to their community experience.
During your setup call, you will trigger an email to your members. This email will contain a link to set up their account information (i.e., account password).
At that point, your members will be signed out of the Vibely community. The next time they navigate to your community, they will be prompted to sign in. The sign-in button will redirect them to your new Kajabi login page. They will simply use their newly created account credentials to access your community.

There won't be any other visible changes for your members, but if for any reason they don't want to do this they can simply deactivate their account before the migration date.
How to prepare your members for the move
Your members will experience minimal disruption during this process, and the community experience will be exactly the same as it was before.
The only change for your members will be their new login.
They will be signed out of the community and will receive a link to create new login credentials.
Your members will receive the following emails:
- Offer Grant Confirmation Email: An email letting them know they have been granted access to the community.
- Member Welcome Email: An email containing a link to create their password.
When migrating to any platform or software, it is always good practice to communicate early and often with your customers.
To prepare your customers, we recommend creating an announcement for your Vibely Community at least a week before your call with your Kajabi Customer Success Manager.
Example announcement:
Title: Exciting news!
Hi everyone! There will be a small update to your community accounts on xx/xx [date of call].
What to expect:
- You will receive two emails to your email address associated with this account.
- An email with a link to create a new password.
- And an email letting you know that you have access to the community.
- At that point, you will be signed out of the community, and all you have to do is sign back in with your newly created password. If you do not see the emails, be sure to check your spam folder. If you cannot locate the email, reach out to [your support email].
The day before your call, we recommend sending a reminder announcement and email to your community members.
Example reminder copy:
"Reminder! Sign in to your new account tomorrow." [Include your original instructions to check their email.]
What happens if I don't migrate my community?
Migrating your community is a big decision and one only you can make.
If you choose not to migrate, your Vibely community will be at risk of deletion on March 3, 2023. You, nor your members, will be able to sign into the community and their accounts will also be shut down.
After March 3rd, there will be no further communication from Vibely.
It is important to understand that after March 3rd, 2023, you will not be able to access any of the content currently within your community.
If you choose not to migrate, consider backing up your content and community data in an external file to protect and save your community information.
