What's new?
As privacy laws and the operating systems of your site visitors continue to evolve they will impact how Facebook receives and processes events from tools like the Facebook pixel.
If you optimize, target, or report on web events from Facebook pixel or any of Facebook's other business tools, you can take steps to update your event setup and manage these evolving changes. Learn more about these changes.
Here at Kajabi, we are dedicated to providing you with the tools you need to succeed and that includes helping you advertise your business, your way.
Because we understand just how important these tools are for you and your business.
That's why we have introduced Facebook's Conversions API to Kajabi.
With the Conversions API, Kajabi will send lead and purchase events directly to Facebook, even when the Facebook Pixel can’t.
Send Lead and Purchase Events Directly to Facebook
What is the Facebook Conversions API?
As changes to Facebook’s ability to track events shifts, this may lead to Kajabi’s inability to send conversion event information that you may normally track in Facebook’s Ads Manager.
Learn more about these anticipated changes.
The Conversions API allows Kajabi to send purchase and lead events that visitors complete on your Kajabi site directly to your Facebook Ads Manager, instead of relying on the visitor’s web browser. Learn more about Facebook's Conversions API.
How to send lead and purchase events directly to Facebook
To send lead and purchase events from Kajabi to Facebook and set up your Facebook Conversions API you will need two items:
Your Pixel ID and Access Token will be added to your Kajabi Pixel integration from your site settings.
To add your Facebook Pixel ID and Access Token to your site on Kajabi:
- Navigate to your Kajabi Dashboard and click Settings.
- Click into Third-Party Integrations and scroll to Facebook Pixel.
- Toggle Facebook Pixel to ON.
- Then, paste your ID into the Pixel ID field.
- After adding your Pixel ID, paste in your Access Token into the Access Token field:
After setting up your integration, Kajabi will send the following events to Facebook:
- Purchases
- Leads
How does this work with existing browser events?
The current browser events will still send in addition to the new server events from the Conversions API.
Facebook deduplicates identical events sent through the Facebook Pixel and the Conversions API by checking the event name and ID to determine if there are duplicates.
