What is contact exclusion?
With Contact Exclusion, Kajabi analyzes your contacts and flags high-risk and inactive email addresses and excludes them from receiving your marketing emails.
If a high-risk contact is added to your site, but they visibly engage with your emails they will not be excluded from receiving your marketing emails.
What is the benefit of excluding contacts?
High-risk and inactive contacts can put you at risk of being flagged for spam and can result in more emails landing in your recipients' spam folder, and worse, severely impact your sender reputation if a high-risk or inactive email address is a spam trap. Learn more about spam traps

Why is Kajabi excluding my contacts and how does excluding my contact benefit me?

If high-risk and inactive contacts receive your marketing emails you are at risk of being flagged for spam. This may result in more emails ending up in your recipients' spam folder, and worse, can severely impact your sender reputation if a high-risk or inactive email address is a spam trap.
How do I know if a contact has been excluded?
Your excluded contacts will be marked as "Excluded" in the Email Marketing Status column of your People tab.
With the new exclusion status, you can easily filter and segment your Excluded contacts to quickly preview your list of Excluded contacts.
How are my marketing emails affected by exclusions?
Excluded contacts are excluded from receiving your marketing emails.
This includes email broadcasts, email sequences, and event emails.
Because excluded contacts cannot receive your marketing emails, they will not impact your email statistics.
Additionally, any excluded contacts subscribed to an email sequence or registered to an event will not receive any future emails.
