Learn more about the Test Duration when A/B testing your Email Broadcasts on Kajabi.
In this article:
What is A/B Testing?
A/B testing is a method of measuring the effectiveness of different variables. In this case, different variables within your Email Broadcasts. By A/B testing your Email Broadcast, you can compare a constant version of your broadcast to an alternate version with small, variable changes similar to the constant version.
A/B testing can help improve your conversions, enhance your customer experience, and provide insight into the performance of your Email Broadcasts.
What is A/B Test Duration?
The Test Duration is the time limit specified to gather results. After the last test email is sent, your specified Test Duration will begin. Once the Test Duration has concluded, the winner will be determined.
For example, if you set your Test Duration to four hours, this means that you are giving Kajabi four hours to collect data after the last email has gone out.
So, if your email recipient list is large, the last test may take awhile to complete after you press send. This means that the test duration will not begin until the last email is sent.
In this example, the test duration of 4 hours + the 1 hour (example) of send time will equate to 5 hours total before you see the results of your Email A/B Test.
After the test duration is over, the winning Email Broadcast (Version A or Version B) is determined and the winning email is sent to based on your specified Test Distribution.
You will then be able to see the results of your test in the results page:
