If you are receiving the notification that you need to update your target API, then Google has identified that your app is targeting an old version of Android:
Google requires all apps to meet the most up-to-date target API level requirements.
Be sure to update your app by August 31, 2024. If you miss the deadline, be sure to update it to the newest version as soon as possible.

Make sure there are no outstanding requirements from Google in your Developer Console in the App Content section after clicking into your app:
