The Communities Redesign is a refresh of the Communities Product. It is a simple, clean design that offers a more engaging experience for you and your community members. With the Kajabi Communities redesign you will notice that it is dramatically easier and faster to use with customization options to perfectly reflect your brand.

What You Need To Know

• The basics of Communities haven't changed, so there’s no learning curve for you or your members. It’s everything you already know and love in a cleaner, more customizable design.
• We've made significant improvements to the technical foundation, resulting in a smoother, more reliable experience with fewer technical issues to interrupt your community engagement.
• When you switch, everything comes with you! All your content, members, and settings will be preserved—nothing lost, only improved

Member Communication

Your members don’t need to do anything before the upgrade, but you might want to give them a heads-up. It’s not required, but keeping them in the loop can be a great way to bring them along for the journey. Here’s a sample post—feel free to tweak it to match your style!

I’m excited to announce that we'll be upgrading our community to a new look and feel on [Date & Time e.g., April 10th at 9am PT]. This change will bring several improvements to our space, making it easier for all of us to connect, share, and engage.

What to expect:

• A fresh new look with updated colors and layout
• Improved navigation
• Better content organization
• All your previous posts, comments, and resources will remain intact

You don’t need to take any action - the next time you login after the above date you’ll see our brand new space! If you have any questions or feedback after the switch, please let us know!

How do I upgrade now? 

Simply head to your Communities Dashboard and click Switch now:

What do I need to have prepared when I switch? 

The good news is that you don’t need to have anything prepared to make the switch. Once you do however, you will immediately be able to customize the following: 

• Brand color (Hex Code)
• Cover photos for feed (Recommended size: 1,512 x 558)
• Menu icons (Recommended size: 16 x 16)

Where can I see the redesign?

The redesign is available on the web only. There have been no updates to the mobile app. However, the redesign is available in the Branded Mobile App.

Can I revert back to my original community? 

No, once you switch to the new version, you will not be able to switch back.
