Creating a new Event
To create a new event:
- Open the Marketing tab from the Dashboard.
- Click Events.
- Click Get started.
- Title your Event.
- Select your Event date and time. (Events can be scheduled up to one year in advance)
- Select your time zone.
- Configure the Event as a one-time occurrence or recurring.
- Click Save to begin customizing your Event:

Adding emails to your Event
Event actions are used to set up registration emails, reminder emails, and follow-up emails linked to the start date and time of your Event.
To add Event Emails:
- Open the Marketing tab from the Dashboard.
- Click Events.
- Then, select an existing Event or create a new one.
- Click Add Email.
- Choose when you would like to send the email in relation to your Event in the When dropdown menu.
- Remember to click Save to keep your changes:
Your Event Emails will then be set to send to your Event Email recipients according to your Event Email specifications!
Unsubscribing from event emails
Your Event Email recipients (i.e., Event Registrants) have the option to unsubscribe from your Event Emails with Kajabi's auto-generated "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each email:
However, it is important to keep in mind that if your recipients choose to unsubscribe from an Event Email, they will be unsubscribing from all of your Marketing Emails. Learn more
