How to Use ClickFunnels With Kajabi

Here we will look into the integration between Kajabi and ClickFunnels. The premise of this integration is to use Kajabi as the deliverable product and ClickFunnels as the primary way to capture leads, provide value through sales pages, and then make the offer and sale. When a customer makes this purchase, it passes on their info to Kajabi and creates a contact in the Contacts list and then grants them the Offer automatically. Financial information will be kept in ClickFunnels rather than Kajabi.  

In this article:

Step 1. Setting up the integration

If you'd like to integrate ClickFunnels into your new Kajabi website, you can do so in a few simple steps. First, you’ll need to open your ClickFunnels dashboard and click on Build a Funnel:

You’ll be prompted to choose your funnel goal. For this example, we’ll be using Sell Your Product:

Next, select your funnel type:

Feel free to choose any type, so long as it results in a sale. Next, choose a name and select Build Funnel:

Then, within your dashboard, you can set up the pages in your funnel by selecting the Templates you’d like to use. 

Now, let's set up our Kajabi integration by going to our Integrations tab in the Account Settings dropdown menu:Screen_Shot_2020-06-23_at_1_24_03_PM.png

From within this dashboard, go to Add New Integration.

Next, search for and click on Kajabi and you'll see this screen:

You’ll notice that your API Key is required in order to create the integration. Go into your Settings tab then to the Third Party Integrations section, and scroll down until you see ClickFunnels. Copy the API Key listed in the box:

Now jump back to your ClickFunnels dashboard, and paste your API Key and API Secret in the appropriate box. Click Add Integration.

Step 2. Connecting your Kajabi offer to your ClickFunnels funnel

After adding the Kajabi integration, open up your newly made funnel, and locate the Products tab.

Click Add Product.

After entering in your product information in the Settings menu, locate the Customership tab.

Toggle on the switch to use an Integration:

Select the Kajabi Integration you just created and click Save and Next:

Upon opening our newly made funnel, you can see the option to select Kajabi Products as the action for your page’s buttons. Now you’re all set!

What happens next?

First, your customer will go through your ClickFunnels Funnel and make the purchase as shown here:

Then, the Customer Welcome email will be sent to their inbox after purchase to give them access to their purchased Offer:

Your new Customer can then click the Login link in the email to access their purchased Offer!

Congratulations, you have successfully integrated Kajabi and ClickFunnels!

When is the email triggered when a purchase is made from my ClickFunnels Funnel?

The ClickFunnels integration will send the Kajabi Customer Welcome Email to New Customers. 

The email will not be sent if:

  • A pre-existing Customer purchases an Offer through your ClickFunnels funnel.
  • The Offer is granted rather than purchased through your ClickFunnels funnel.
