Learn to create an Announcement topic in your Community Product for your Community Members to easily access and view your latest Announcement Posts.
Step 1. Create an Announcement topic
Alerting the members of your Community with an Announcement of a recent Post is an excellent approach to ensure everyone is kept in the loop.
To create an Announcement topic:
- Open the Products tab from the Dashboard.
- Select your Community or create a new one.
- Click + Add Topic.
- Enter Announcements as topic title, enter a description and select a tab color.
- Click Save:
Step 2. Create a new Community Post with your Announcements topic
To create a new Community Post:
- Select Go to Your Community.
- Click in the Write Something text box.
- Enter your post text. Optional: Add media to your post.
- Select Send notification to all members.
- Click Post:
