Preparing To Record Your Audio Course
It is important to take into consideration that if you are doing an audio-based course you want to make sure that audio is as crisp and clear as you can make it! So even if you are using your phone to create audio, here are some ways to make good audio great:
- We recommend purchasing a microphone that can attach to your phone or one that can connect right to your computer. There are great microphones on Amazon for $50 and under. If you are planning on using your cell phone, I have attached a microphone option compatible with cell phones below. A very common microphone that connects to your computer is the Blue snowball microphone.
- The next step is finding a room with very little echo. A great place is your closet or bedroom. This is so because there happens to be a lot of fabric to absorb the extra sound and eliminates the echo.
- If you’re recording on your phone, you can use your voice memos app. If you are using your computer, there are plenty of programs you can use like Audactiy, Camtasia, Garage Band, Screen Flow, etc.
