Every Kajabi Hero has a unique Course Product to offer. Understanding that, Kajabi gives you the option to customize your course pages by section and to choose between different handpicked templates. Learn to customize the look and feel of your Course to suit your needs and enhance your customers' experience.

Step 1. Choose a product template
Creating a Course Product on Kajabi generates an empty, default template to help you get started with your content. However, Kajabi provides beautifully designed Product Templates to choose from to best design your digital product with your personal brand.
Creating a site on Kajabi generates an empty, default theme to help you get started with your content.
If you have just started with Kajabi, your Thank You page will display the default, site theme. This theme is not customizable.

Each Product Template will provide a different look, feel, and overall experience for your customers.

To install a Template:
- Open the Products tab from your Dashboard.
- Click +New Product to create a new Course Product or select the existing Course Product you wish to update.
If you created a new Course Product, follow the Product creation prompts. - Click Customize from the Product Editor menu.
- Select Install Template.
- Choose your desired Template or upload a Template.
- Click Install Template:
To view your newly installed template, open the Installed Templates folder and hover over your newly installed template.
Clicking Customize will open your new Template so you can begin customizing the look and feel of your Course Product.
Installing a Product Template does not automatically activate the Template or change your Product's appearance. This gives you time to customize the look and feel of your new Template if you have active customers using your existing Template. Move on to Step 2 to customize your Course page.
Once you have finished customizing your Template, you're ready to activate it! Skip to the final step to activate your template.
Step 2. Customize your course pages
Customize each page of your Course Product, including Lessons, Modules, and more.
- Open the Installed Templates folder.
- Hover over the Template you wish to customize.
- Click Customize.
- In the Product Template Editor, navigate to the top bar.
- Open the dropdown menu.
- Select the page you wish to customize.

To customize the sections of your page, simply click on the section you would like to edit in the sidebar editor.

Step 3. Activate your template
Now that you've picked a Template for your Course Product and customized your Course Pages, the last step is to Activate the Template.
After your Template is activated, it will be the final Product your customers will see and interact with!
To activate your template:
- Return to your list of installed templates.
- Click the
…menu next to your desired template. - Select Activate:
After activating your template, your customized Course Product will be visible to your customers!
