Learn to merge Members accounts if a Member has created two accounts with separate emails on your site.

Merging member accounts
Merge a Members account by:
- First, granting access to the Offer from the unwanted account to the desired account,
- Then, revoking access to the Offer from the unwanted account.
This will leave your Member with one account containing both Offers.
Tip:
Use this same method if a Member enters their email address incorrectly resulting in two separate accounts.
Step 1. Grant Access to an Offer
To merge your Members account, first grant access to the Offer in the unwanted account to the desired account:
- Open the People tab from the Dashboard.
- Then, select All People.
- Search and select the desired person from your contact list.
- Open the More Actions tab.
- Click Grant Offer.
- Select the Offer and click Save:
Step 2. Revoke access to the Offer
After granting access to the Offer, it is now time to revoke access to the Offer from the unwanted account.
Note:
Members do not receive a notification after being revoked from a Product. Keep in mind, revoking access for a recurring subscription or multi-pay Offer will not deactivate future payments. Instead, deactivate the Offer to end future payments and revoke access to the Product(s) included with the Offer. Read How to Cancel Your Member's Subscription for more details.
How to revoke access:
- Open the People tab from the Dashboard.
- Select the existing, unwanted account.
- Click the Purchases tab on their People profile.
- Then, click View.
- Under Product Memberships select Revoke Access.
- Confirm the action by clicking Revoke Access in the popup:
