How are Stripe and PayPal different?
While Stripe and PayPal are both great methods to receive payment from your customers, they do have some notable differences!
Stripe allows your customers to input their Debit/Credit card information directly onto the Checkout Page.
PayPal is a button added to the Checkout Page that redirects your customers to PayPal to purchase with their PayPal account or purchase as a guest.
Can both Stripe and PayPal be connected at once?
Yes, connect either Stripe, PayPal, or both and give your customers the option to select the payment processor they prefer. Connect the payment processors you think your customers will prefer.
Is there a transaction fee?
At the time of filming this lesson,
Stripe charges a flat rate of 2.9% + 30¢ per successful charge as long as you're doing under $1 million in volume per year. This rate can vary depending on your location, but it is always flat.
