Changes to an existing, active email sequence (an email sequence with current subscribers) will impact your subscribers differently depending on when they subscribe to your email sequence.
In this article:
Existing subscribers already subscribed to your email sequence will only receive changes to existing emails in your sequence if they have not yet reached the sending day of the updated email.
It is important to note that new emails in the sequence cannot be added to a sequence retroactively for existing subscribers.
For example, if you created an Email Sequence with three emails sent on days 3, 5, and 7, and you later decided to add an email to be sent on day 6 of the sequence, that email will only be sent to new subscribers.
The day 6 email will not be sent to subscribers who have already passed day 6 in the sequence.
New subscribers to your email sequence will receive updates/changes to your email sequence moving forward:
We recommend setting up your email sequence before adding subscribers to ensure that any changes you wish to make are finalized for all subscribers in your sequence.
