Step 1. Find the perfect audio player for you
The first step to adding a third-party audio player to your site is finding out which audio player will be best for you and your brand.
There are countless free audio players to choose from, so deciding which one is best for you may require a bit of research.
Two popular choices are JW Player and Soundcloud, or if your content is already on Spotify or Apple Music you can embed their players onto your site as well.
Once your content has been uploaded to a player, the next step is to create a Custom Code Block to embed the code on your site.
Step 2. Add a custom code block
- Open the Website tab from the Dashboard.
- Select the Pages tab.
- Open the page editor for your Page. Learn more
- In the sidebar panel, click the Section you want to edit or create a new Section.
- From the list, select Custom Code.
- Your newly created Custom Code Block will generate at the bottom of the Section.
- Click Save to keep your changes:
Step 3. Enter the embed code for the third party player
- In your page, hover over the existing Custom Code Block you want to edit and click Edit.
- In the Code field, paste a copied embed code or enter your custom code. For this tutorial, we used Spotify's player embed code, but the process should remain the same for all other player embed codes.
- Click Save to keep your changes:
