To connect your custom email domain to Kajabi, you will need to add the following DNS Records provided by Kajabi to your DNS Provider:
To access DNS records in Namecheap:
- Go to Namecheap.com and log in to your account.
- Click Manage to the right of your purchased domain.
- Then, click Advanced DNS. From here, you can add and edit DNS records.
To add your unique DNS records from Kajabi to Namecheap:
Step 1. Add TXT Records
- Click + ADD NEW RECORD and then select TXT from the dropdown.
- Copy your unique TXT DNS record created by Kajabi in your Email Domain Settings and Paste the Host text into the Host box in Namecheap.
- Copy the Value Text in the Kajabi Settings and Paste them into the Value text box in Namecheap.
- Repeat this step for the Second TXT record and click save.
Step 2. Add MX Records
- Scroll down to the Mail Settings section and click the dropdown labeled as email forwarding and select Custom MX.
- Copy the Value Text in the Kajabi Settings and Paste them into the Value text box in Namecheap.
- Repeat this step for the Second MX record and click Save.
Step 3. Add CNAME Record
- Scroll up to the Host Records section in Namecheap and click + Add New Record and select CNAME from the dropdown.
- Copy the text in the Host text box in the Kajabi settings and paste it into the Host Name text box in Namecheap.
- Copy the Value Text in the Kajabi Settings and Paste them into the Value text box in Namecheap.
