Does the new Website Builder update my landing pages?
No, the Website Builder is built to help you design your standard website pages (e.g., Home, Login, Blog, etc.) with the same intuitive flexibility available with Kajabi Pages.
Your standalone, landing pages are separate, individual pages that can be connected with links and buttons.
Build your landing pages with Kajabi Pages to leverage the same powerful editing capabilities available with the new Website Builder and create a consistent look and feel at every touchpoint.
Note: Due to the nature of your standard website pages compared to your standalone, landing pages, the new Website Builder contains additional features (like global settings) that are not available with Kajabi Pages.

Can I copy over content from my existing site to the Website Builder?
Yes, if you wish to migrate your existing content onto the new Website Builder to access the latest editing capabilities, manually build your existing content with the Website Builder's Sections and Blocks for each page you wish to create for your website.
It is important to note that if your existing website is built with the legacy theme, Premier, your website data from the code editor is incompatible with the new Website Builder and will not be transferred onto the new Website Builder automatically.
To use the new Website Builder to design your website, recreate your site or manually migrate your content by selecting a template and building your pages with highly-customizable Sections and Blocks. Learn more
What happens to my Encore Beta Site with the release of the official Website Builder?
The latest version made available with the official release of the Website Builder is the most stable version that includes additional features and fixes that are not compatible with previous beta versions.

What happens to my site as Kajabi releases new versions of themes?
As new versions are released, we will provide you with detailed feature updates to help you decide if you would like to recreate your site with all the latest features and design capabilities.

What is the difference between the templates, do they include different editing features?
The Website Builder templates give you the same tools and editing capabilities to design your standard website pages across every template.
But we know how much time, resources, and energy is required to design a website from scratch, so we created pre-designed templates to help you get started!
Because we believe that you should never have to start from scratch (unless you want to).

Will updating my website with the new Website Builder give me editing capabilities for specific website pages or all of my standard website pages?
The new Website Builder is built with the sole-purpose of helping you design and build your website to tell your story faster and easier than ever before.
This means that with your help (shoutout to all of our Beta Heroes) making the switch to the new Website Builder brings the powerful editing capabilities across all of your standard website pages.

How do I get the new standard website pages (Member Directory, Announcements, About, and Contact) added to my site?

How will this affect my existing Blog and Blog Posts?
The Website Builder is Kajabi's latest website editor to give you more control over your website's appearance.
If you choose to re-design and activate your website with the Website Builder, your published blog posts and existing Blog details will take on the design you create.
The blog post content (i.e., title, media, body content) will remain, but the overall look and feel across your blog posts will inherit the design you activate with the new Website Builder.
I installed the new Website Builder and began customizing my pages, but then I got a warning that my homepage was set to a Landing Page and all of my changes reverted. What happened?
Are you seeing this warning?
If you see this warning, you are editing a page that is no longer set to display when visitors enter your site URL. This is a great method for redesigning your website behind-the-scenes by changing your site homepage.
This allows you to craft your new website with the Website Builder and continue to direct traffic to your site. Learn more
As long as you clicked Save after every change you wished to keep, your changes will remain in the template you were editing.
When you are ready to display your newly designed website, be sure to activate your customized template and change your homepage back to your Theme Home. Learn more
Why do some people have a Sales page in their list of standard website pages and I don't?
If your account was created after 8.16.2020 you will not have a Sales page listed among your standard website pages.

Why do I have two About and Contact pages in my navigation menu page?
If you created an About or Contact page and added the page links to your navigation menus before the launch of the new Website Builder, your navigation menu page will display duplicates.
The new Website Builder added an official About and Contact page onto your list of standard website pages. As standard website pages, they are connected to your website with a navigation menu.
To remove any duplicate links from your navigation menu page, simply remove the link to the About or Contact page you wish to disconnect. Learn to delete a link from your navigation menu
