What is the Contacts tab?

The Contacts tab is your organizational tool to help you manage the information for your contacts.

In other words, the Contacts tab is your built-in Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) on Kajabi.

With Kajabi, all of your contacts are added to a single list to easily view, access, and manage their accounts.

Within the Contacts tab you can manage existing contacts with Segments and Filters and add new contacts to your site.

Managing your contacts

Before we dive into managing your Contacts with the various actions available in the Contacts tab, let's discuss the contacts, customers, and subscribers that make up your Contacts tab.

Contacts, customers, and subscribers

Contacts

Contacts include any person in your Contacts tab. This may include contacts that have subscribed, unsubscribed, purchased an Offer, or have been granted an Offer.

For each contact added to your site, you can learn more by clicking into their Contacts Profile.

Customers

A Customer is a user or contact that has completed a purchase or has been granted an Offer on your site.

Customers can be identified in your Contacts tab by the checkmark next to their name:

Subscribers

A Subscriber is a user or contact that has provided consent to receive your marketing emails. Subscribers can be added to your site through a Form submission or imported onto your site.

This is where your contacts can overlap. Customers of your site may also be considered a Subscriber if they are subscribed to receive your marketing emails. In the same way, Subscribers may be Customers if they have access to your Offer(s).

Although Subscribers may also be Customers of your site, Subscribers are not required to be Customers to receive marketing emails.

As long as the Subscriber has provided the proper permissions to receive marketing emails, they are considered Subscribers.
