Overview
You can add account users (also known as extra admin users) to help you manage your Kajabi site. This guide shows you how to add, edit, or suspend an account user quickly and securely.

How to add an account user
Click the Settings link in the left sidebar to open the Settings page.
Click the Manage Users card.
Click New User.
Fill out the user details:
First name
Last name
Email
Phone number (optional)
Time zone
Password
Select the role you want to assign to your new user.
If applicable, choose which sites and communities they should have access to.
Click Save.
The user will receive an email to verify their account. After verifying their account, they will need to enter the password you set for them and create a new password.
Notes:
Account users will use the Kajabi login page to log in.
Account users are not managed under Contacts, only under Settings > Manage Users.
Be sure to give your account users access to at least 1 site. Otherwise, they won't they won't be able to take any actions inside after logging into Kajabi. They will see a page "Welcome To The New Kajabi."
If you receive an error that the email address has already been taken, it means that their email is already associated with another Kajabi account. Many email providers allow you to add a "+" and any word or number to the email (e.g., example+kajabi@example.com), including Gmail, Outlook.com, and Yahoo. In this case, your account user will still receive email notifications at their original email. However, if their email provider doesn't support this, you will need to enter a different email address.
Verify your Kajabi account users
When an account user profile is created, the user receives an email titled "Confirmation instructions" from Kajabi. They must verify their account before logging in; otherwise, they’ll see the error "you have to confirm your email address before continuing."
Important: The verification link expires after 24 hours.
How to verify your account
To verify their account, account users must click the Verify your email link in the email. If necessary, they can request a new confirmation email:
Click Didn't receive confirmation instructions? to open the resend confirmation form.
Enter an email address into the Email field and click Resend confirmation instructions to submit the form.

How to edit an account user
Click the Settings link in the sidebar to access the Settings page.
Scroll down to explore the Settings page and locate the Manage Users section.
Click the Manage Users tile to open the users management page.
Click the Edit icon next to the user you want to edit.
Modify any information you need to change and click Save to finalize the user edit.
Reset a password for an account user
From the Manage Users page, click the Edit link next to user to open their User Details.
In the User Details section, click Reset password.
Click Yes, reset password.
The user will receive an email from Kajabi to reset their password.
Note: Account users can also reset their password at any time on the Kajabi login page.
Suspend an account user
Go to Settings > Manage Users.
Click the Edit link next to one of your account users.
Scroll down and click Suspend User.
Click Suspend user.
To unsuspend them, click Unsuspend User.
Notes:
On the account user edit page, there is not an option to delete a user.
Suspended account users do not count against your plan limit.
Account user roles
There are 4 roles that can be assigned to an account user:
Owner (also known as, "sub-owners")
Administrator
Assistant
Support Specialist
Each user role comes with different permissions. Learn the difference between each role that can be assigned to an Account User.
Owner
Owners have maximum permissions, including critical actions. Recommended only for business owners.
Administrator
These are specifically other Administrators that you can add to your account. With each plan level, you are given a select number of Extra Admin users.
Administrators have the same permissions as owners, with the exception of payment connections.
This means that Administrators will have the same access and account view as the Account Owner except they will not be able to connect with payment processors through the Settings tab under Payment Integrations.
If an Administrator attempts to connect a Kajabi account with Kajabi Payments, Stripe, or PayPal they will be prompted to contact the Account Owner.
Note: The Administrator role has access to every site associated with the account. This means all notifications, comments, and settings are available to the Administrator for every site associated with the account (with the exception of connecting to Kajabi Payments, Stripe, or PayPal).
Assistant
Assistants can delete and modify site content, but cannot see financial report data.
This means Assistants have access to all components of the app with the exception of:
the Settings tab
the Analytics tab
Note: Although your Assistants cannot access the Analytics tab, they can access your customer Product progress reports by selecting a specific Product > opening More Actions > and clicking View Progress.
Support Specialist
Support Specialists have limited access to moderate comments and manage the Contact list for the site(s) the Account Owner gives them permission to access.
