FAQs

How can I unpin Cofounder action items from my Kajabi dashboard?

In the Cofounder window, click Unpin from dashboard under “Your action items.”

Can Cofounder publish or create content for me?

No. Cofounder creates draft content and explains how to use Kajabi, but you publish and configure everything.

Is Cofounder available on the Kajabi mobile app?

No. Cofounder is available through web browsers and the dedicated Cofounder mobile app. It is not available in the Branded Mobile App.

Does Cofounder remember previous conversations?

Yes. Cofounder remembers your past conversations, so you can pick up where you left off or reference earlier discussions in a conversation.

Can Cofounder help with technical issues?

Cofounder can guide you through Kajabi features and common tasks. For technical issues or account-specific problems, contact our support team.

Is Cofounder’s advice unique to my business?

Yes. Cofounder generates advice based on your specific business idea, audience, niche, and goals.

Are all Account User Roles able to interact with Cofounder?

Cofounder is accessible to Account Users with Assistant permissions or higher. Any Account Users assigned the Support Specialist role will not see the Cofounder icon and therefore will not be able to start a chat.

How does Cofounder connect me to live support?

Cofounder can guide you through Kajabi features and common tasks, but it also knows when a human is needed. If you ask for support or express frustration, Cofounder will acknowledge the situation and offer a direct way to connect with a live teammate. This handoff routes you straight to a support specialist and does not go through the standard Fin chatbot. This ensures you get timely, human help for technical or account-specific issues without breaking your flow.

How does Cofounder use my data as a Kajabi Hero?

Your content stays yours. We may use general, anonymized usage patterns to make Cofounder better, but your personal information is always private.

How is Kajabi using the information inputted into Cofounder?

Your data is encrypted, protected by industry-standard security, and never sold to third parties. When it comes to our AI features specifically, anything you share with the AI — and anything it generates for you — is treated as your Content under our Terms of Service. And the most important thing to know about your Content is that you own it. Kajabi uses it only to operate and improve the platform on your behalf, not to repurpose your ideas or share your information. We know that trust is foundational to this kind of tool, and we want to be transparent about how it works. You can find the full details in our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Does Cofounder use my content to train its AI models or share it with other Heroes?

No and no. Your “Content” under our Platform Terms means everything you create and upload to Kajabi: courses, lessons, coaching materials, videos, images, copy, product descriptions, landing pages, emails, all of it. It’s yours. Kajabi does not claim ownership over any of it. Cofounder references your Content as context so it can give you personalized help. It reads your business data to be useful to you, not to store it or pass it to anyone else. To the extent your Content is private (behind a paywall, shared only with paying customers, not publicly accessible) it is protected. It will not show up in another Hero’s Cofounder conversation. No one can ask Cofounder to “build me a course like yours” and get anything drawn from your private material. We do not use your Content to train the models that power Cofounder. It is not fed into a training pipeline or used to improve Cofounder for other people. It is context for your conversations, and that’s it.

How do I turn off Cofounder Nudges?

You’ve got a few different ways to control Cofounder Nudges depending on how much you want to pull back — from turning them off entirely to just dialing down a single one:
  1. Dismiss a single nudge (only affects you) - If a specific nudge isn’t useful, click Dismiss on the speech bubble next to your Cofounder chat button. That nudge goes away for you, but other admins on your account will still see it in their own view. New nudges will keep coming as normal.
  2. Snooze nudges for 30 days (only affects you, in this browser) - Need a break without turning the feature off? Click Snooze 1 month on any nudge speech bubble. You won’t see any new nudges for 30 days. Other admins on your account aren’t affected; they’ll keep getting theirs. One thing to know: the 30-day timer is stored in the browser you snoozed from. If you clear your cookies/site data, sign in on a different browser, or use a different device, your snooze will reset in that browser and you may start seeing nudges again sooner. If that happens, just hit Snooze 1 month again on the new browser.
  3. Turn off Cofounder email notifications (only affects you) - If the speech bubbles are fine but you’d rather not get the emails, head to Settings → Email Notifications and uncheck “Notify me when Cofounder has a new suggestion for my business”. You’ll still see nudges in the dashboard speech bubble, you just won’t get the email. This is a per-user setting, so it only affects your inbox.
  4. Turn off Cofounder Nudges entirely (affects your whole account) - If you want to disable the feature completely, go to Settings → Labs and toggle off “Cofounder Proactive Nudges”. Important to know: Labs features are managed at the account level, so this will turn nudges off for every admin on your account, not just you. If only you want to stop seeing them, use options 1–3 above instead.
