Cofounder overview

Cofounder is Kajabi’s AI business-building assistant designed to help you turn ideas into income. It works alongside you to clarify your business direction, shape offers, and generate launch-ready content like products, landing pages, emails, and marketing assets so you can confidently take your next step forward.

Use Cofounder in-app

Once you create your Kajabi account, Cofounder acts as your AI assistant inside the Kajabi Dashboard.

How to access Cofounder

• Cofounder button: Click the Cofounder diamond icon in the header to open a slide-out panel on the right side of the screen. The panel is available across all areas of Kajabi. A welcome screen greets you by name with a prompt to start chatting.
• Compact and fullscreen views: Cofounder/= opens in a compact view by default. Click the expand icon in the panel header to switch to fullscreen view, which includes a Conversations sidebar for browsing your chat history. Click the collapse icon to return to the compact view.
• Start a conversation: Click the pencil icon in the panel header to begin a new conversation at any time.
• Action items: Cofounder builds a checklist of action items based on your conversation. You can interact with these items directly in the Cofounder panel. Click Start next todo to jump into your next action, or choose Pin to dashboard to keep your checklist visible on the main dashboard.
• If you did not sign up for Kajabi through Cofounder, your checklist will be empty until you begin interacting with Cofounder.

Why Cofounder may take longer to respond

When you see Cofounder’s status change from Thinking to other states, it means Cofounder is doing something more complex under the hood to personalize its response for your specific business. This might include:

• Reviewing your progress by checking your Site Business Checklist and what you’ve accomplished so far
• Identifying what account resources you have (Products, Offers, Pages, etc.)
• Looking up details about your resources, for example, the pricing you’ve set, your GMV, or how your Course is configured\

Chat history

Cofounder remembers your past conversations, so you can pick up where you left off or reference earlier discussions in a conversation.

• Click the pencil icon in the Cofounder panel header to start a conversation.
• Switch to fullscreen view to see the Conversations sidebar, which lists all of your past chats.
• Click any previous conversation to reopen it and continue where you left off.
• In compact view, use the conversation dropdown at the top of the panel to switch between chats.

Cofounder can reference context from your earlier conversations. For example, if you discussed building a specific Course in one chat, you can open a separate conversation and ask Cofounder to continue working on that same Course. It will know what you’re referring to.\

Upload images

Share screenshots and images directly in your Cofounder chat for more targeted guidance.

Send an image

1. Click the + button at the bottom of the chat input field.
2. Select an image from your device.
3. Add a message describing what you need help with, then click the arrow to send.

Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, PDF. Maximum file size is 10 MB.

Use cases

• Troubleshooting: Upload a screenshot of an issue you’re experiencing in the app, such as an error message or unexpected behavior, and ask Cofounder to help you troubleshoot.
• Inspiration: Upload a screenshot of an external landing page, website, or design you admire and ask Cofounder how you might build something similar in Kajabi.

Page awareness

Cofounder understands which page you’re currently viewing and can provide contextual guidance based upon what’s on your screen. This means you can ask questions about the page you are working from without needing to explain where you are. Examples of what you can ask:

• “What page am I on?”
• “How do I do X on this page?”
• “I’m having trouble with X — can you help me troubleshoot?”

Page awareness is especially helpful when you encounter an error or unexpected behavior. Open Cofounder from the page where the issue is happening, and it can see the context and help you resolve it.

Resource navigator

Ask Cofounder about the resources in your account and it will surface direct links to view, edit, or manage them. Instead of navigating through menus, describe what you’re looking for and Cofounder will take you there. Examples of what you can ask:

• “What Courses do I have?”
• “Show me my Landing Pages”
• “Take me to my Coaching program settings”

Cofounder returns deep links so you can jump directly to the relevant page, whether that’s a Course editor, a Product dashboard, pricing settings, or another location.\

Site analyst

Ask Cofounder how your site is performing and get a data-driven snapshot of your business. Cofounder analyzes your site’s traffic, conversion, revenue, and pricing metrics and highlights where you’re doing well and where there’s room to grow. Examples of what you can ask:

• “How is my site performing?”
• “Where should I focus to grow my business?”
• “How are my pages performing compared to the average?”

Cofounder responds with a concise summary, typically up to three key findings, focused on the metrics that matter most. It highlights areas where your performance is above or below benchmarks, so you know exactly where to focus your attention.\

Proactive nudges

Cofounder can reach out to you with personalized suggestions when it notices you haven’t been active on your site. These nudges are designed to help you maintain momentum and get back on track with actionable next steps.

Where nudges appear

• In-app: A chat bubble appears next to the Cofounder icon with a short preview of the suggestion. Click Start to open Cofounder with the full nudge, or Dismiss to close it.
• Mobile app: Push notifications delivered to your mobile device
• Email: An email with the nudge and a direct link to open Cofounder in your dashboard

Nudges are triggered by inactivity. You’re most likely to see them on sites where you haven’t been recently active. Each nudge includes a specific, actionable recommendation based on your business context, such as an incomplete action item or an opportunity to improve a specific metric.

Knowledge base integration

Cofounder draws from Kajabi documentation to provide accurate, up-to-date guidance. When you ask how to do something in Kajabi, Cofounder explains the steps based on current platform capabilities and links.
