Create and Use a Form for Your Site, Funnels, and External Pages

A Form in Kajabi is a versatile tool that can be used for many actions such as: subscribing someone to an email sequence, granting them an offer, registering them to an event, and more. Here is a guide on how to create forms, and then use the same Form throughout your site, Funnels, and External Pages.


Creating a Form

To create a new Form:

  1. Open the Marketing tab from your Dashboard.

  2. Then, select Forms.

  3. Click + New Form.

  4. Add your Form title.

  5. Click Save to create:

After creating your form, customize your Form with the Form Editor.

Adding a Form to a Page

  1. Open the Website tab from the Dashboard.

  2. Click Pages and select the Page you wish to edit or create a new page.

  3. Click Customize to open the Template Editor.

  4. Click the Section you want to edit or create a new Section.

  5. In the sidebar, click Add Content.

  6. From the list, select Form.

  7. Select an existing Form from the dropdown to populate your Form in the Block.
    (Your newly created Form Block will generate at the bottom of the Section).

  8. Click Save to keep your changes:

Adding the Form to a Funnel

To add the Form to a Funnel:

  1. Open the Marketing tab from the Dashboard.

  2. Then, select Funnels.

  3. Select an existing Funnel or create a new one.

  4. Select the Opt-in card or click Opt-in inside the Template Checklist on the left.

  5. Click to Edit the Form.

  6. Choose the Form in the dropdown under Form in the sidebar editor on the right.

  7. Click Save:


Embed the Form onto an external webpage

To embed the Form in a separate site:

  1. Choose the Marketing tab.

  2. Select Forms.

  3. Select the Form you would like to embed.

  4. On the top menu under the form title, choose Embed.

  5. Then, click the copy icon next to Embed your form with one line of javascript.

  6. Paste the embed code into the source code of your external web page.

Embed Settings and Style

Customize the design and copy for your embedded Form. You can replace the default Title (i.e., Join the Newsletter) and Subtitle for your form when embedding it on an external page:

  1. Edit the Form Title, Subtitle, and Button Text.

  2. Choose the color for the button, background, and text.

  3. Save your changes before copying the embed code.

After customizing the form Settings, you can select the form Style.

Style determines how the embedded form will display on the web page:

  • Inline embeds display within the web page.

  • Pop-up forms display as a pop-up on the page.
