Log in to a Kajabi account

Reset a password, set up 2FA, and fix login errors as a Kajabi account owner or account user.

Your Kajabi account login gets you into app.kajabi.com, where you run your Kajabi site(s).

Use this article to log in and get back in when a password, a two-factor authentication (2FA) code, or a verification email is blocking you.

To keep your account safe, or if someone else got into it, see Protect a Kajabi account. If you're a customer of a Kajabi site, you log in on that site instead. See Log in to a Kajabi site.

Log in at the Kajabi login page

Kajabi allows you to log in with a password, a sign-in link, or Google sign-in.

One Kajabi account login works for every site in the account. Account users see only the sites they have access to.

An email address can belong to only one Kajabi account. If you want to run a second Kajabi account, use a different email address or an alias like [email protected].

Log in with a password

To log in to Kajabi with a password:

  1. Go to the Kajabi login page (app.kajabi.com/login).

  2. Enter your Email address.

  3. Enter your Password.

  4. If you want to stay logged in on this browser, select Remember me.

  5. Click Sign in.

Kajabi login page with Email address and Password fields, the Remember me checkbox, the Sign in button, and the Continue with Google button.

  6. If 2FA is on, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app or text message.

  7. If you don't want to enter a 2FA code on this device for the next 30 days, select Remember this device for 30 days.

  8. Click Continue.

You're now logged in to your Kajabi account.

Log in with a sign-in link

A sign-in link (sometimes called a “magic link”) logs you in to your Kajabi account without typing your password.

To log in to Kajabi with a sign-in link:

  1. Go to the Kajabi login page (app.kajabi.com/login).

  2. Select Email me a sign-in link.

  3. Enter your email address. Then, select Email me a sign-in link.

  4. Open the email with the subject line Your Kajabi sign-in link and click the link within 15 minutes.

  5. If you're in the same browser where you requested the link, Kajabi logs you in right away. In any other browser or device, the Finish signing in page opens and shows the email address the link logs you in as. Click Sign in.

Notes:

  • Each sign-in link works once and expires after 15 minutes.

  • If you haven't verified your account email address yet, the sign-in link first opens the Confirm your password page. Enter your password and click Confirm and continue. Kajabi logs you in and verifies your email address, and later sign-in links skip this page. If you enter a password incorrectly 5 times, the sign-in link stops working. You can request a new one. If you don't know your password while on the Confirm your password page, click Set a new password. This allows you to set a new password without a reset email.

  • If your browser is already logged in to a different Kajabi account when you open a sign-in link, Kajabi asks before it switches to your account. To switch, click Continue as followed by your email address.

When sign-in links aren't available

  • Sign-in links don't work when 2FA is on for your login or required for your account. If you request a link, you usually get an email with the subject line Sign in to Kajabi with your password. If you've never set a password, you get Create a password to sign in to Kajabi instead, with a link to create one. If a sign-in link still arrives, clicking it shows Your account uses multi-factor authentication, so sign-in links are not available. Sign in with your password.

  • If your password has expired, the sign-in link will lead to an error Your password is expired, please check your email for reset instructions. To fix it, open the email with the subject line Instructions to reset your Kajabi password and set a new password.

  • If an account user is suspended, no sign-in link is sent.

  • If you're a Kajabi Partner working in a client's account through Client Link, no sign-in email is sent.

Sign-in link email didn't arrive

If the sign-in link email didn't arrive, try these steps:

  • Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders.

  • Search your inbox for the subject line Your Kajabi sign-in link and Sign in to Kajabi with your password.

  • Enter your email address again, in case of a typo.

  • Try a different email address. To find which email address your account uses, search each of your inboxes for "Kajabi".

Note:

Wait one minute before you request another sign-in link. Kajabi sends at most one sign-in link email per minute, and at most 5 per hour or 15 per day. If you request a link past one of these limits, no email is sent. A sign-in link from an earlier email still works until it expires.

Log in with Google sign-in

Google sign-in lets you log in to your Kajabi account with a Google account instead of a password. Google is the only social sign-in option.

To log in to your Kajabi account with a connected Google account:

  1. Click Continue with Google.

Kajabi login page with an arrow pointing to the Continue with Google button.

  2. Select the connected Google account in the Google window.

  3. If 2FA is on, enter your 2FA code.

You're now logged in to your Kajabi account.

Connect Google to an account

To connect Google sign-in to your Kajabi account, first log in with your email and password, then:

  1. Click Connect to Google in the Social Accounts section.

Sign In & Security page with an arrow pointing to the Connect to Google button in the Social Accounts section.

  2. Enter your password in the pop-up.

  3. Click Confirm.

  4. Select the Google account to connect in the Google window.

From then on, you can log in with Google using the steps in "Log in with Google" on this page. If the Connect to Google button is grayed out, or you see an error when you connect Google, see Error messages.

Create a password if you only use Google

If you've only ever logged in to your Kajabi account with Google, you don't have a password yet. You'll need one to disconnect Google sign-in or to change or disable 2FA.

To create a password:

  1. Click Create password in the Password section.

  2. In the Create a password pop-up, enter your password in Create password and again in Confirm password.

  3. Click Create password.

You can now log in with your email and password, or with Google.

Disconnect Google from an account

To disconnect Google sign-in from your Kajabi account, you need a password. If you've only logged in with Google, create one first. Then:

  1. Click Disconnect next to Google in the Social Accounts section.

  2. Enter your password in the pop-up.

  3. Click Confirm.

You see Social account has been successfully disconnected, and you now log in with your email and password.

Reset or change a password

To reset a forgotten Kajabi account password:

  1. Go to the Kajabi password reset page, or click Forgot your password? on the Kajabi login page.

  2. Enter your account email address.

  3. Click Reset Password.

Kajabi Reset your password page with an Email field and the Reset Password button.

  4. Open the email with the subject line Instructions to reset your Kajabi password, and click the reset link within 6 hours. A page opens in your browser.

  5. Enter your new password in both fields.

Kajabi Change your password page with New password and Confirm new password fields and the Change my password button.

  6. Click Change my password.

  7. Go back to the Kajabi login page and log in with your new password.

Your password is now changed. Resetting it doesn't log you in, so you'll need to log in with the new password.

Each new reset request cancels the previous link. If you use an old or expired link, the page still opens, but you see an error after you click Change my password (see Error messages).

Tip:

We recommend deleting older password reset emails before you request a new one, so you always click the link in the newest email.

Password reset email didn't arrive

If the Kajabi account password reset email didn't arrive, try these steps:

  • Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders.

  • Search your inbox for the subject line Instructions to reset your Kajabi password.

  • Enter your email address on the password reset page again, in case of a typo.

  • Try a different email address. To find which email address your account uses, search each of your inboxes for "Kajabi".

Note:

After you click Reset Password, the page shows If your email address exists in our database, you will receive a password recovery link at your email address in a few minutes. You see this message even if no account uses that email address, so it doesn't confirm that you have an account.

Change a password while logged in

To change your Kajabi account password while you're logged in:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Sign In & Security. You can also click your name in the top-right corner and select Account Settings > Sign In & Security.

  2. Click Change password in the Password section.

Password section of Sign In & Security showing when the password was last changed and the Change password button.

  3. Enter your Current password, your New password, and the new password again in Verify password.

  4. Click Change password.

Your password is now changed, and you get an email with the subject line Your Kajabi user password has been updated.

Warning:

If you get the Your Kajabi user password has been updated email and you didn't change your password, follow the steps in "Resolve a compromised login" in Protect a Kajabi account right away.

Password strength, reuse, and expiry rules

Kajabi account passwords follow these rules:

  • A new password needs at least 10 characters, with at least 1 uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, and special character (such as !?$). This applies any time a password is set: when you change, reset, or create one, or when you add an account user.

  • You can't reuse any of your last 5 passwords. If you try, you see an error message (see Error messages).

  • A password expires 3 years after you last changed it. During the last 30 days before your password expires, you see a warning banner with an Update password button.

  • The Kajabi team can also expire a password for security reasons. Once a password expires, you can't log in with it, and you get an email with a reset link instead.

Unblock an account

Kajabi blocks an account when it detects suspicious activity, such as suspicious login attempts, too many wrong passwords, or bot activity. When your account is blocked, you get an email with the subject line Account Blocked.

Note:

The Account Blocked email comes from a third-party service, not from a @kajabi.com address.

To unblock your account:

  1. Open the email with the subject line Account Blocked.

  2. Find the IP address in that email. The IP address is the network address of the device that tried to log in.

  3. Check that the IP address matches your own, using a site like whatismyipaddress.com.

  4. If the IP address matches, click UNBLOCK in the email. A confirmation page opens.

  5. Go to the Kajabi login page and log in.

Warning:

If the IP address in the Account Blocked email doesn't match yours, reset your password before you click UNBLOCK. A different IP address can mean someone else tried to log in to your account.

To avoid future account blocks, follow the habits in "Prevent unauthorized access" in Protect a Kajabi account.

Lost access to account email

If you no longer have access to your Kajabi account's email address, you can't change it yourself in Account Settings, because Kajabi needs to send a confirmation link to verify any email change. To request a change to your account email, contact Kajabi Support.

Login page isn't working

If the Kajabi login page won't load or won't accept your login, try these steps in order. After each step, try logging in again.

  1. Turn off ad blockers and privacy extensions such as uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, Ghostery, AdBlock, AdBlock Plus, or Brave's built-in filtering. If this works, add *.kajabi.com to the extension's allowlist.

  2. Clear your browser cache and cookies.

  3. Open an incognito or private window. If this works, a browser setting or extension may be blocking the login page.

  4. Turn off your virtual private network (VPN) or firewall. If this works, change your VPN or firewall settings to allow *.kajabi.com.

If none of these steps work, contact Kajabi Support.
