Payout schedule

The payout schedule determines how often Kajabi sends money to your bank account. You may have the option to choose between daily, weekly, or monthly payouts. For weekly or monthly schedules, you can specify the day or date you want the payouts to arrive in your bank account. Although you have selected the date you'd like to receive the funds in your bank account, there may be delays depending on who you are banking with.

The payout schedule doesn't affect the time it takes for transactions to be visible in your balance, but it does control when your funds are paid out.

Additional payout schedules may become available 1-2 business days following your first sale through Kajabi Payments. Any updates you make to your payout schedule will take 1-2 business days to take effect. The availability of daily and weekly options can vary by site based on several factors, including, without limitation, historical processing conduct, product offerings, business types, and content. For more information about how changing your payout schedule affects your transaction disbursements, refer to the Transaction Delay section below.

Note on time zone: All payments and payouts are presented in the dashboard according to the timezone set up on your site.

Transaction delay

While the payout schedule refers to the cadence at which your funds are paid out (for example, day of the week), the transaction delay refers to the amount of time between when a customer pays you and when the funds are processed and your Payout is estimated to arrive in your bank account.

The transaction delay varies per business and is typically expressed as Transaction Date (T)+ a specified number of days. This means that a transaction will be included in a payout after the specified number of days after the transaction has been met. For example, if your account has a T+2 standard transaction delay and you're on a daily payout schedule, the funds paid out daily would be from 3 business days preceding.

Note: Any transactions that you process after changing your payout frequency will be eligible to be paid out on the schedule you set up. At the time of onboarding to Kajabi Payments, your account is set to Monthly with a T+7 transaction delay for regulatory and compliance purposes. Additional payout schedules and transaction delay timeframes may become available 1-2 business days following your first sale through Kajabi Payments. Your next payout may not include all the transactions in your available balance if they have not yet met their transaction delay. It could take up to 7 business days or longer for all funds to be disbursed to become available for disbursement regardless of your selected payout schedule. Learn more about viewing payouts and payout details.

Important: The T+2 and T+7 windows count business days only — weekends and bank holidays are not included. Once Kajabi initiates your payout after the transaction delay, your bank may take an additional 1–2 business days to post the funds to your account. If your payout shows as In Transit, it has left Kajabi and is being processed by your bank — this is expected and does not indicate a problem.

Payout failure

Kajabi Payments will promptly notify you via email if a payout failure arises. You will also see the payout with a failed status on your Payouts Page.

To resolve a failed payout, identify the cause first:

  • Invalid bank details: Go to Sales > Payouts > Change and re-enter your routing and account numbers carefully.

  • Closed or restricted bank account: Open a new bank account and update your details. A new 7-day verification hold will apply.

  • Bank rejection: Contact your bank to confirm they accept ACH transfers from Kajabi Payments, then update your bank details if needed.

  • Persistent failure after updating: Contact [email protected] with your payout ID for investigation.

Payout holds

In some cases, Kajabi Payments may place a temporary hold on your payouts for compliance or account verification reasons.

When this happens:

  • You will see an alert on your Kajabi Dashboard homepage.

  • Kajabi Payments will notify you by email with the reason and any steps required from you.

  • Your funds continue to accumulate during a hold — no money is lost.

  • Once the hold is resolved, payouts resume automatically on your next scheduled payout date. If you see a payout hold and have not received an email with instructions, contact [email protected] with your account details.
