Page Editors overview

Open the Page Editor for a Website Page, Landing Page, or Funnel Page, and find whether a page uses the Nova, Encore, or Premier Template.

Page Editors hold the tools you use to customize your Website Pages, Landing Pages, and Funnel Pages. All three open in the same Page Editor.

What changes from page to page is the Template behind it — Nova, Encore, or Premier. The Template determines which sections and settings you see. You may also hear the Template called the "Page Editor version".

Funnel Pages are Landing Pages that have been grouped into a Funnel, so they behave the same way Landing Pages do. Learn about the differences between Website, Landing, and Funnel Pages.

Nova

Nova is a Template built from the ground up for AI. Instead of filling in a fixed layout, you describe the page you want and Cofounder builds it. The result is a modern, distinctive layout rather than the same template with different words.

Nova is available for Landing Pages only. Website Pages and Funnel Pages use Encore or Premier.

Nova is an additional option, not a replacement. Pages built on Encore or Premier keep working as they are. Learn more about Nova.

Encore

Encore is the Template with the most customization options, and the one Kajabi continues to develop. Encore is also called the Website Builder.

Premier

Premier is the earlier Template. It takes a more streamlined approach to page design, with fewer customization options than Encore.

Premier builds a page out of sections. You add a section, then set its content and style. Encore splits the same job in two: you add a section, then add blocks inside it.

In the Template Store, Premier Website and Landing Page Templates are grouped under Legacy Templates. To build a website or a Landing Page on Premier, choose a Template from that group. Learn more about Legacy Templates.

Note: Kajabi no longer develops Legacy Templates. Support still covers issues with them.

FAQs

Which Template should I use for a page?

We recommend Encore for Website Pages and Funnel Pages, and Encore or Nova for Landing Pages. Kajabi continues to add features to Encore, while Premier Templates sit under Legacy Templates and are no longer being developed.

Why is a section missing from the page I’m editing?

A section can be missing for two reasons. Event, Event Video, Multi Video Launch, and YouTube Live are available on Landing Pages and Funnel Pages but not on Website Pages. Beyond that, the sections you can add depend on the Template the page uses, so a section you used on one page may not exist on another.

What happens when Kajabi updates a Template?

When an update is available for the Template a page uses, an Update label appears next to the Template name on the Design page. The page keeps its current design until you apply the update.
