Link is currently available through Kajabi Labs. To accept Link payments, first turn it on in Settings > Kajabi Labs, then follow the steps below to add it to your offers.
Link is a digital wallet built by Stripe. Customers who already have a Link account can buy from you without re-typing their card details, so there is no fumbling for a card at the moment they have decided to buy. Less friction at checkout means fewer abandoned carts.
Unlike Apple Pay and Google Pay, Link does not depend on a device wallet. It works in any browser, on desktop and mobile.
Link payments are processed the same way as credit and debit cards with Kajabi Payments. You can expect to see purchases made with Link reflected throughout Kajabi in the same way card payments would be.
What your customers experience
Link appears inside the credit card field at your checkout. There is no separate button, no new page, and no redirect.
A customer who already has a Link account sees their saved details filled in and can finish the purchase without re-typing anything.
A customer using a new device receives a one-time code by text to confirm it is them.
A customer without a Link account sees the normal card form, plus the option to save their details to Link for next time.
Note: Link does not appear for every customer at every checkout. Stripe determines when to display it based on the customer, their location, and their device. If you do not see Link when testing your own checkout, it does not necessarily mean something is wrong.

Link instant bank payments (United States)
If your business is registered in the United States, your customers may also see the option to pay directly from their bank account through Link.
Bank payments through Link cost you less to process than a card payment. See Kajabi Payments fees: United States for current rates.
Link instant bank payments are not the same as ACH Direct Debit for invoicing. They are separate payment options with different rates and a different customer experience.
Note: Link instant bank payments are only available to businesses registered in the United States. In all other regions, Link is processed and priced as a card payment.
How to tell if a purchase was made with Link
Transaction details page The payment method row shows the card brand and last four digits, and a Wallet row shows the Link icon. For a bank payment through Link, the payment method row shows a bank icon and Instant bank transfer.
Receipts A card payment through Link displays like any other card payment. A bank payment through Link shows the Link icon and Bank transfer on the email receipt.
Customer billing page Wallets display the card brand and last four digits, with via Link icon next to the expiration date. Your customers can use Update payment method or Remove.
Transaction export A wallet column identifies the wallet used, with the value of link.

Link FAQs & Troubleshooting
What offers will Link work for?
Link is available on any one-time, subscription, or payment plan offer configured to Kajabi Payments. It also supports additional purchases tied to the offer, such as trials, set-up fees, order bumps, and upsells. Link is available on offers, carts, and invoices.
Link is not available on manual purchases.
When will my customers see Link at checkout?
Stripe decides when to display Link based on the customer, their location, and their device. Customers who already have a Link account are most likely to see it, because Link recognizes them and offers their saved details.
Customers without a Link account will see the standard card form with an option to save their details to Link after paying.
Does Link cost more than a card?
No. When a customer pays with a card through Link, you pay your standard card processing rate. In the United States, when a customer pays from their bank through Link, you pay less than the card rate. See Kajabi Payments Processing Fees for current rates in your region.
Do my customers need a Link account before they can check out?
No. Customers without a Link account see the standard card form and can choose to save their details to Link at the end.
Do I need a Stripe account to use Link?
No. Link is included with Kajabi Payments. There is nothing to set up with Stripe.
How do refunds work with Link?
Refund a Link transaction exactly as you would a card transaction. Nothing changes.
How does my customer manage their Link account?
Your customer manages the payment options attached to their purchases with you from their billing page on your site. The Link account itself, including the cards saved to it and the phone number on file, is managed by Stripe and is not accessible from Kajabi.
