Dual-language Kajabi admin interface

Toggle the translation of field names and navigation to English or Spanish with a simple setting.

The Language field controls which language your Kajabi Dashboard and the rest of the admin interface displays in: English or Spanish (Español). It's a personal setting tied to your own login, not a site-wide one, so you can work in Español while a teammate on the same account works in English.

This only changes the admin interface you see when you're signed in to manage your account. It doesn't affect your site, checkout, or anything your customers see — that's controlled separately. Your own content (product names, descriptions, emails you wrote) is never translated. See Change a site language to translate what your customers see.

Set your Kajabi admin language

  1. From the Dashboard, click your Avatar in the upper-right corner to open the User Menu.

  2. Click Account Settings.

  3. Under Details, find the Language field directly below Time zone:

  4. Select English or Español.

  5. Click Save.

Your Dashboard and admin interface switches immediately. Because this is your own field, changing it never changes what anyone else on the account sees.

Note: If you would like to switch the Kajabi admin to Español, be sure to turn off your browser's auto-translate, as your browser may offer to re-translate Spanish pages.

What switching to Español translates

Switching your Language field to Español translates the following (coverage will continue to expand over time):

  • Navigation, buttons, and menus

  • Forms and Settings screens

  • The Product and Offer builders

  • Dates, times, and number formats

  • Most Kajabi emails about your own account

What stays in English

A few areas don't follow your Language field setting yet:

  • Theme and design builder labels. When you edit a Website Page, Landing Page, or other themed content, the names of sections, blocks, and their settings come from your theme, not the admin. They appear in the language the theme was written in, which is English for all of Kajabi's built-in themes. The rest of the editor and the screens around it follow your Language field.

  • Login page. The language setting only applies once you've logged in.

  • Kajabi mobile apps. The iOS and Android Creator apps are English only.

Note: Only English and Español are available right now. Spanish text generally runs 20 to 25 percent longer than English, so a few buttons, tables, or narrow layouts may look tight or wrap differently in Español.

Warning: On a few billing screens — subscriptions, paid extras, Backstage seats, and affiliate payout emails — the currency symbol and number formatting follow your Language field instead of your actual currency.

Switching to Español can make a US dollar amount display with European-style formatting, like 1.234,56 € instead of $1,234.56. The amount itself is correct; only the symbol and punctuation are off. Confirm charges in English, or check your Kajabi invoice, until such time as this bug is resolved.

FAQs

Does switching my Kajabi admin language change what my customers see?

No. Your Language field only changes your own admin and Dashboard. Your site, content, Checkout, Member Portal, and customer emails keep whatever language they're already set to. See Change a site language to translate what your customers see.

Can other account users pick a different Kajabi admin language?

Yes. Each person who logs in to the account sets their own Language field under Account Settings. One Account User can work in Español while another works in English, with no effect on each other.

Why is part of my Kajabi admin still in English after I switch to Español?

Translation coverage is broad but still expanding. A screen that hasn't been translated yet shows in English rather than erroring. This is expected, and it fills in over time with no action needed from you.

Can I set my Kajabi admin to a language other than English or Español?

Not yet. English and Español are the only options in the Language field right now.
