What is the Beta phase?
Beta is the first step in introducing a new payment solution to the market. Participating in this phase will mean that you’ll get access to the first set of Kajabi Payments features and have your voice and feedback shape what we’re building.
You’ll also get early access to subsequent releases of payments features, and the opportunity to work with our team to create a payment experience suited to your unique business.
Who's invited?
Kajabi Payments Beta is now available for all US Heroes! Find it on your Payment Integration pages in Settings. Please note that the available options may vary.
How to Participate
Participating in the Kajabi Payments Beta is easy!
Here is how to participate:
- At this time, the beta is exclusively open to US Kajabi Heroes.
- First, enable multi-factor authorization for the security of your Kajabi account. Learn more.

Onboard to Kajabi Payments by visiting your Payment Integration Settings. Here you’ll be asked to enter your business information such as your EIN, address, phone number, and website information. You will also be asked to add a bank account to start receiving payouts.
- Create or update an existing Offer using Kajabi Payments and manage your payments and earnings as usual. Learn to convert all of your existing Offers to Kajabi Payments.

Is Kajabi Payments available to all Kajabi customers?
Kajabi Payments is currently available to Kajabi customers whose businesses are based in the US only. Outside the USA? Don’t worry! We're hard at work to expand to more countries before the end of the year, so stay tuned!
What is the benefit of using Kajabi Payments over Stripe or PayPal in this beta phase?
Kajabi Payments is purpose-built for Kajabi Heroes to support an all-in-one experience. It includes exclusive features only available via Kajabi Payments such as Apple Pay!
Joining our beta will give you the chance to be first in line for new feature releases such as AfterPay and Tax which are proven to help increase conversions on your checkout.
Throughout this entire process, you’ll have direct access to Kajabi’s payments team for feedback and support, and the exclusive opportunity to partner with us when we launch Kajabi Payments to all Kajabi Heroes.
What can my customers expect to change if I use Kajabi Payments?
Most of your customers won’t notice a difference. Some returning customers may need to re-enter their payment information when they make their first purchase with Kajabi Payments. Cards that have been stored via Stripe will not be carried over to Kajabi Payments.
Is Kajabi Payments secure and trustworthy? How do I know payments will be successfully processed?
Kajabi Payments is built in partnership with Stripe, which means both payment solutions use the same processing engine. You can expect the same reliability with Kajabi Payments as you would with Stripe.
Will Kajabi still be supporting other existing payment integrations?
We will continue to maintain and support the existing Stripe and PayPal integrations.
Is Kajabi Payments an additional option or a replacement for Stripe? What about PayPal?
You can connect Kajabi Payments as a third payment option on your account in addition to Stripe and PayPal.
Kajabi Payments and Stripe both serve the same function of allowing your customers to pay with their credit card/debit cards. PayPal is different because it allows your customers to pay with their PayPal account.
So, for example, let’s say you’ve connected all three payment options to your Kajabi account. You can then go into your offers and choose to use either Kajabi Payments OR Stripe to accept card payments.
You can also choose to add PayPal as a payment option IN ADDITION to your card payment option.
Does Kajabi Payments cost more than Stripe?
Kajabi Payments has industry-standard processing fees in line with Stripe (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction). For a full fee breakdown view here.
What will my checkout look like if I use Kajabi Payments?
Kajabi Payments unlocks additional payment methods for you to accept at checkout, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.
When additional payment methods are configured to your Kajabi Payments offer, the look and feel of your checkout form will be refreshed to a more intuitive user experience for selecting payment methods. Learn more about additional payment methods here.
