Fees

When you use Kajabi Payments to process your payments, you'll be charged a processing fee for each successful transaction. Kajabi charges an industry-standard processing fee competitive with other major payment processors.

By choosing Kajabi Payments as your payment processor, you not only gain the advantage of competitive processing fees but also provide your customers with the convenience of paying through additional payment methods, such as a digital wallet like Apple Pay or Google Pay, or via a Buy Now Pay Later solution such as Afterpay during checkout.

FAQs

What happens if I detach my Stripe account?

  • Payment Stoppages: Detaching your Stripe account from Kajabi will stop Stripe from processing new payments through Kajabi.

  • Subscription Continuity: Existing subscriptions and multi-payment purchases will remain active but will not renew unless manually managed through another system.

  • Data Accessibility: Records of past Stripe transactions will be visible in Kajabi, but new data will not sync to Stripe.

Can I delete my Stripe account while using Kajabi Payments?

  • Yes, deleting your personal Stripe account has no impact on your ability to collect payments via Kajabi Payments, as it operates independently.

What happens to my subscriptions if I cancel Kajabi?

  • After canceling Kajabi, you can manage subscriptions directly in Stripe for active ones, as Kajabi’s tools will no longer be accessible.

Is Kajabi Payments available to all Kajabi customers?

Kajabi Payments is currently available to Kajabi customers whose businesses are based in the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and select European countries. We are currently in development to expand Kajabi Payments to additional regions, so keep an eye on your email!

What is the benefit of using Kajabi Payments over Stripe or PayPal?

Kajabi Payments is purpose-built for Kajabi Heroes to support an all-in-one experience. It includes exclusive features only available via Kajabi Payments such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Afterpay, Klarna, Xero integration, and Quickbooks integrations, plus the option to calculate sales tax on your offers! Kajabi Payments is directly integrated into the Kajabi dashboard, eliminating the need for separate Stripe logins and providing management of transactions within a single platform.

What can my customers expect to change if I use Kajabi Payments?

Most of your customers won’t notice a difference. Some returning customers may need to re-enter their payment information when they make their first purchase with Kajabi Payments. Cards that have been stored via Stripe will not be carried over to Kajabi Payments.

Is Kajabi Payments secure and trustworthy? How do I know payments will be successfully processed?

Kajabi Payments is built in partnership with Stripe, which means both payment solutions use the same processing engine. Kajabi Payments operates as a standalone feature within the Kajabi platform but is powered by Stripe on the backend, handling core aspects of payment processing. You can expect the same reliability with Kajabi Payments as you would with Stripe.

Does Kajabi still support other existing payment integrations?

We maintain and support Stripe and PayPal integrations.

Is Kajabi Payments an additional option or a replacement for Stripe? What about PayPal?

You can connect Kajabi Payments as a payment option on your account in addition to third party payment processors such as Stripe and PayPal.

Kajabi Payments and Stripe both serve the same function of allowing your customers to pay with their credit card/debit cards. PayPal is different because it allows your customers to pay with their PayPal account.

For example, if you have connected all three payment options to your Kajabi account, you may choose to use either Kajabi Payments OR Stripe to accept card payments on your Offers.

You can also choose to add PayPal as a payment option IN ADDITION to your card payment option.

Does Kajabi Payments cost more than Stripe?

Kajabi Payments has industry-standard processing fees in line with Stripe. See a full fee breakdown view here.

What will my checkout look like if I use Kajabi Payments?

Kajabi Payments unlocks additional payment methods for you to accept at checkout, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, and Afterpay.

When additional payment methods are configured to your Kajabi Payments offer, the look and feel of your checkout form will be refreshed to a more intuitive user experience for selecting payment methods. Learn more about additional payment methods here.
