Which subscription features are currently supported by Kajabi Payments?
Subscription features that we currently support with Kajabi Payments include the following:
- The ability to configure trials and set up fees
- The ability to do full or partial refunds of subscription transactions
- The ability to send receipts
- The ability to cancel payments
- The ability to manually retry failed subscription payments.
Note:
After you set up a Subscription Offer with Kajabi Payments, any new subscriptions will go through Kajabi Payments, and any existing subscriptions will remain on Stripe.
What Multiple Payment features does Kajabi Payments currently support?
Multiple Payment features that we currently support with Kajabi Payments include:
- The ability to configure trials and set up fees.
- The ability to do full or partial refunds of multiple payment transactions
- The ability to send receipts
- The ability to cancel payments
- The ability to manually retry failed subscription payments
Note:
After you set up a Multiple Payment Offer with Kajabi Payments, any new multiple payments will go through Kajabi Payments, and any existing multiple payments will remain on Stripe.
How to set up a subscription or multiple payment with Kajabi Payments
Kajabi Payments supports subscriptions, allowing you to accept payments for your product(s) on a regular interval (weekly, monthly, yearly)
To create a subscription with Kajabi Payments:
- Open the Sales tab from the Dashboard.
- Click Offers.
- Select the Offer you wish to edit or create a new one.
- Then, select the Pricing tab.
- For Payment Type, choose Subscription.
- Add a Trial Period (optional) and/or a Setup fee (optional).
- Navigate to the Payment Providers section.
- Select Kajabi Payments from the dropdown menu.
- Click Save to apply your changes:
Kajabi Payments supports multiple payments, allowing you to accept monthly payments for your product(s)
To create a multiple payment with Kajabi Payments:
- Open the Sales tab from the Dashboard.
- Click Offers.
- Select the Offer you wish to edit or create a new one.
- Then, select the Pricing tab.
- For Payment Type, choose Multiple Payments.
- Enter a Payment amount and Number of Payments.
- Add a Trial Period (optional) and/or a Setup fee (optional).
- Navigate to the Payment Providers section.
- Select Kajabi Payments from the dropdown menu.
- Click Save to apply your changes:
Refund and send receipts for a subscription or multiple payment transactions
Perform a full or partial refund for your Customer(s) directly from Kajabi:
- Open the Sales tab from the Dashboard.
- Select Payments from the Sales tab.
- From the Payments page, select Transactions to be taken to the Transactions page.
- Here you can search or filter to find the customer’s transaction that you want to refund. Learn more.
- Once you have found the payment you wish to refund select the … button for More Actions.
- In the More Actions drop-down menu, select Refund.
- Enter your Refund amount and select a reason (optional) for your records.
- Press Refund to complete the Refund process:
Send a receipt for your Customer(s) subscription transactions:
- Open the Sales tab from the Dashboard.
- Select Payments.
- Click Transactions.
- Search the email of the Customer you wish to refund.
- Open the More Actions Menu
… - Select Send Receipt:
How to Edit Individual Subscription Price
Edit an individual subscription price or multi-payment directly through Kajabi with Kajabi Payments:
- Open the Sales tab from the Dashboard.
- Click Payments.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Click the subscription amount for the customer you wish to edit.
- Use the More Actions Menu
… - Select Update Subscription.
- If you are increasing the subscription price, you must check the “I agree to provide customers with adequate notice of price changes as required by law.” box to continue.
- Remember to click Save to save your changes:
Note:
When increasing a subscription price, you may be required to inform your customer about this change. Please follow all applicable laws and regulations. The price change will go into effect at the next scheduled subscription date. If the price is changed 1 day before the next scheduled payment, the changes may not apply to that payment. The minimum amount required for all payments is $0.50.
Cancel a subscription or multiple payment
Canceling payments from the Purchase Information page on Kajabi will end the subscription or multiple payment and revoke product access immediately for payments processed through Kajabi Payments.
To cancel payments and product access:
- Open the Sales tab from your Dashboard.
- Select the Payments.
- Click Subscriptions.
- Open the More Actions menu (…) for the subscription you wish to cancel.
- Click Cancel Payments.
- Select the date to cancel payments and access:
- End of the Current Billing Period.
- On a Custom Date.
- Cancel Now.
- Then, click Cancel Payments to confirm:
