Weekly Digest

Send your Community Members a weekly summary every Thursday at 9 AM Pacific Time from their Access Group announcements, upcoming meetups, popular conversations, and more!

Choose what you want to include in your Weekly Digest by updating the Email Notifications sent to your Community Members

Note:
Members will only receive content from the Access Groups they are a part of and they can unsubscribe at any time.

Refined control of Private Circle membership

When you create a new Private Circle, you’ll now have the ability to select which members to add directly from the Circle creation modal window. Add or remove members from the Private Circle at any time using your Circle settings.

New Private Circle

To select members for a new Private Circle:

  • In your Community, click the "+" icon at the top right.
  • Select Circle from the dropdown menu to create a new Circle.
  • Input your preferred settings.
  • For the Privacy setting, select Private.
  • Then, click Next.
A members modal will open displaying a list of all Access Group members.
  • Use the checkboxes at the left to select which members to grant access.
Select the checkbox at the top of the list to select all members.
  • Click Save:

Your members can also choose to leave a Private Circle by clicking “Leave circle” from their Circle options menu.

Private Circle Lock Icon

A lock icon will now appear in the corner of each Private Circle image so it’s easy to quickly identify Private Circles:

Note:
A notification will appear in the Circle feed when new members are added.
Tip:
You can also conveniently view all members of a Public Circle by clicking the “[#] members” link next to the Privacy setting in your Circle settings modal. However, the only way to remove someone from a Public Circle is to revoke their Offer to the Circle’s Access Group via the Contacts tab in your Kajabi dashboard. Keep in mind, this will also revoke all of the other Access Group content as well. To limit Circle access, we recommend creating a Private Circle.

Members modal

Your Community member and Circle member lists are now available in a modal experience.

To open the Community members modal, either:

  • Click Find Members in the left sidebar of your Community, or
  • Click the Chat icon at the upper right of your Community and select the New DM icon:

  • Click the [#] Members link at the top left and select the [#] Members link again, or
  • Click at the top right of the page and select Members from the options menu:

Circle Settings Modal

Your Circle settings are also now conveniently available in a modal experience. Update your Circle image, title, description, Access group, or privacy settings directly from the modal window.

To open the settings modal:

  • Click to open a Circle.
  • Click at the top right of the page.
  • Then, select Settings from the options menu.
  • Update the Image, Title and Description, Access Group, and/or Privacy setting as desired.
  • Click Save to apply your changes:

Note:
Deleting an Access Group to which you’ve assigned one or more Circles won’t delete the Circles, but only the Community Admin will be able to view Circles that aren’t assigned to an Access Group. If desired, you can reassign a Circle to a new Access Group.

Embedded Communities

Updated Communities URL

Your community URL and favicon will now match your  Kajabi member site URL, so it’s consistent across all your Kajabi products. This change will happen automatically and you do not need to do anything. Existing URLs will automatically redirect.

Updated login & logout flow

The login process for your Kajabi Community is now seamlessly integrated with the rest of your Kajabi products!

Logging in and out will now happen in the member site just like other Kajabi products. The magic link functionality will be removed and your members will no longer be able to sign in and out directly from the community.

And that’s what’s new with Communities! Please vote below and let us know if you found this article helpful. We value your feedback. Thanks for being the best part of Kajabi!
